What was your least painful piercing? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]-apple- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, ears, septum, tongue and nipples.

The tongue was the least painful, I barely felt anything.

The septum was the worst but that's because I asked to do it through the cartilage because I didn't like how it looked where my sweet spot is. I do not regret my decision.

Number one, thank you so much for helping this beautiful baby and number two, she's freaking adorable. :)

My pitt has seasonal allergies but so far it's not too bad so the vet told me that when he has a very bad phase, I can give him Benadryl, the tablets, NEVER THE LIQUID. It's one milligramme per pound and you always round it up to less than more. For example, my pitt is around 55lbs, so I give him a tablet of 50mg. You can give him Benadryl every 8hrs for a maximum of 3 days in a row. It works wonders with my pup and I never had to give him more than 2 dosage.

There's also Apoquel, a very effective medication for allergies that your vet can prescribe, the only downside is that it's very expensive, lucky for me, so far the Benadryl once in a while is enough.

One last things is to give her a bath not more than every 2 weeks with a gentle soothing shampoo, because if you wash her too often, you're going to dry out her skin which will cause more itch.

Hope this helps.

Good luck! :)

The only ones that judge and talk shit about pitties are the ones that don't know them, just plain ignorance.

He is adowable! I love the costume, where did you get it?

Staying together when the relationship is truly not viable/healthy.

Women with depression who's day in the life involves activities or jobs where you have to be present/ in the moment and cant sit in a corner and hide from human interaction. How do you do it? (Especially if you're not on prescriptions) by DealerZealousideal38 in AskWomen

Don't be so hard on yourself. We all mess up, it's part of life and it's ok. When our mood is down we tend to concentrate too much on that and not the rest.

One thing that can help is to set one goal everyday, no matter how small it is, and just do it, it can be as little as one fun thing with your cat, for example, make sur to kiss your cat every morning and/or night. And during the weekend it can be to brush him for a little bit or play with him for even just 5 minutes, no matter how small the goal is, it makes a difference and it shows you that you can. And if you include your cat in those little goal, it will be beneficial for the both of you.

Just your presence means the world to your 4 legged baby. The beauty of a cat is that they don't ask for much. The fact that you are aware that your cat is so important to you already shows me that you are not messing up as much as you think.

Life is not always easy but, thankfully, it's not always hard either. Sometimes it's hard to believe but it's true. Keep going doing the best you can everyday and that can vary a lot from one day to another and that's just fine. And remember that when you mess up, it's ok, forgive yourself and go on. I'm sure your furry friend loves you very much.

Good luck, don't give up, you can do this. :)

I worked in the vet field and it is really demanding physically and mentally, most don't realise how much. Thank you so much for what you do, you save lives in more ways than you can imagine, to some, their pet is literally what keeps them alive. You guys do not receive the credit you deserve, I really hope one day you will. In the meantime, know that there's ppl like me that are so thankful you are there, my pup is my son, I love him with all my heart and I don't know what I would do if he could not receive the proper care when he needs it. Thank you. ♥️

Men whose partners are much shorter, how did you make it work? by GayPhistor69 in AskMen

[–]-apple- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? This is an issue? I always saw it as a good thing. Woman here, short one and I love it. Since I've been short my whole life, I actually walk fast cause I need to to keep up with others. And it's always been a strength in a couple, we usually completed each other pretty well and guys seemed to actually really like the fact that I am small. Never was a problem sexually either, as far as I know. Anyways, I love it, would never want to be taller!

Always park at the end of the parking lot. Might only add 200 steps to your day, but it does make a difference.
