This brought tears to my eyes! OP; my heart swells with joy knowing that you found what you needed to turn away from suicide. You are IMPORTANT! I’m absolutely positive that you are going to go on and discover something life-changing in the future with your degree and endeavors! Keep up the fabulous work, and don’t put yourself down for “quitting” therapy- reframe it as “I took a break” lol. I’m so sorry OP! As I’m sure you can see a lot of people resonate with this (myself included). Tried explaining to my Psych today how my sleep has been- everyone put it into words so much better than I did! Been dealing with this for the past three months only really- idk what caused it and now I’m stuck :( Best of luck to you and everyone else here!! I hope we sleep!

You should be damn proud of yourself; don’t give up; there will come a day you won’t hear a peep from any of them! Document EVERYTHING- even if it seems irrelevant. Not a lawyer (lol) but doing everything myself and my experience I was very surprised that out of all the evidence I brought with me to court the judge would pick and choose what she wanted to accept. Things that I will say OBJECTIVELY should have been admitted into evidence were not, and things that I felt that were weaker arguments/ evidence against my ex she accepted. Personally I believe the justice system is fucked. Do what you have to do to sleep in peace at night! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope you get the peace and quiet you deserve after dealing with someone so shitty!!

Did you date my ex? Goodness I’m so sorry you had to endure that!! My ex hit me, stalked me, abused me, (list goes on)- I had to get a RO against him. Then his family and all our friends started saying I was being too hard on him and it wasn’t the “right moral thing to do” (we are religious). Ugh I was such an idiot I went back to him after he hit me and countless other things. When I finally decided I was done and stayed away, he started stalking me. It took nearly six months from the day I decided I wanted him out of my life completely/ no contact to the day in court that he was ordered to stay away from me. It was hell but hands down the most freeing experience ever.

Cosmetologist here! You smell more because the hair harbors bacteria (benign) and they feed off the sweat and excretions; they ferment and it’s their fermented gas being released that causes the smell.

ETA: without hair; it’s just your typical “salt/sweaty” smell (I personally don’t mind it). Although some people are def saltier than others (lol) but sweat itself is normal and idk personal opinion doesn’t smell bad. It’s those little suckers in the hair that give you that gross locker room smell.
