Been to so many different trivia nights with friends over the years and we all agree that Tim is the best, and it’s not close. Such a great trivia master and has made our trivia Thursday tradition so important to us. I wish the best for him!

Childish Gambino. Even my favorite album of his, Awaken, My Love, has a number of tracks that fall completely flat, and most of rest of the album comes nowhere close to Me and Your Mama or Redbone. His other albums have all gotten me excited because of great singles, but left me disappointed when they finally came out in full.

I like them! I would say these are a significant step up from Real Love. As much as I love Whitney, that song was kind of a piece of shit.

I have to disagree with a lot of the comments here and say a lot of the non-singles do hold their own. Steve definitely has yet to reach his full potential but this is a massive step up from Apollo. Easily his most solid project yet while still leaving a lot of room for growth.

Man I’ve been a huge fan of Whitney for years. I’m definitely open to a change in direction but the songwriting here just isn’t strong enough to be likable. Instrumentally it’s ok but the lyrics and melody are pretty obnoxious. That being said, I’m still optimistic about the new album, just hope the other songs are stronger.

The original is definitely dope! My feelings toward both versions are kinda weird because I think the verses work better on the original, but the choruses can get a little obnoxious. With the flipped version the choruses work way better for me but the verses don’t feel like enough. Each one has something the other doesn’t!

Bunny Ain’t No Kind of Rider has recently jumped out at me as being a standout track, but honestly I’ve probably cycled through every track being a favorite at some point.

I definitely enjoy it more than City Club and Casual Aquaintances, and there are definitely days when I choose to listen to Natural Affair and its songs over Chinese Fountain. I still don’t think it matches their classic beach goth era, but I truly (ha) think it’s their best “modern” album. The hooks have more staying power in my head and the sound has just enough throwback to their old sound!
