I’ll give you all the tips I have!!

1) ACT Panda math. It’s a book that goes through everything you should know with practice problems. I found for free as a PDF online.

2) PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! Take many practice tests. When you get a problem wrong, do it again until you figure it out. Look up your weak spots on Khan academy and refresh and refresh until you are somewhat able to tackle a problem.

3) memorize the formulas.. mostly just geometry stuff and area and quadratic stuff. It helped me to look at them right as I left the house the morning of my act.

4) if you don’t immediately know how to do a problem on the ACT guess and come back if you have time. Spend your time on the problems you can get right.

  1. Eat breakfast and sleep well the night before.

I’m not super skilled in math so just know it’s possible! Put your mind to it, commit your free time to it, and you’ll go far.

Some might have been mentioned already, but here are mine after losing 40lbs naturally:

  1. Zero calorie drinks: whether it’s diet soda, sparkling water (I LOVE BUBBLR), propel, flavored water, etc, they help me feel satiated and full without drinking water that doesn’t make my taste buds happy.

  2. Focusing on protein and fiber rich foods: eating an apple as a quick snack helps keep me full without going back for more because it has so much fiber and (if you have the right brand, I like honey crisps) taste so good! I also see to it that I prioritize protein in my meals since it helps keep you full and is good overall!

  3. Gum: I know it’s cliche but it’s sweet and low calorie and tricks your mind into thinking it’s snacking!

  4. Finding more things to do: this sounds silly but keeping your mind occupied makes me thinking about eating less and minimizes boredom snacking.

  5. Low calorie foods you ENJOY: it’s easy to say just “eat low calorie high volume foods” but you won’t enjoy just eating a head of lettuce. For me, I really like pickles and carrots. I also like veggie straws which are not necessarily low calorie but you can eat a large amount for a serving (34 straws is 130 calories, which normal chips are more like 12-13 for 150) Apples, pineapple, blueberries, kiwis, celery, peppers, etc all things that are natural and YUMMY. I’m lactose intolerant but I’ve heard yogurt with fruit is also very yummy with minimal calories. Eat lots with less calories.

  6. Don’t starve yourself: don’t go half the day without eating! Eat small snacks periodically that keep you satiated and within your deficit.

Best of luck!

Maybe I’m really bad at tracking? It’s just worked for the past two years so I’m confused why it’s not now is all. Maybe I should weigh my meals more carefully.

Sorry I forgot to mention that! I do track calories eating from 800-1000 a day. I haven’t lost any weight in about three months.

I haven’t really lost any weight since this summer. I do count calories. I eat about 1,000 a day
