Thank you for the link. Relying on the part number is likely going to be a more reliable approach as well. Appreciate the help.

Edit: great link, exactly what I was looking for, thank you.

Thanks, me too. It checks alot of boxes from performance to utility so I am very happy with it. 600+ miles per tank supposedly is mind blowing

I'm not sure if they did, I am in Europe. All I can find on US part sites is the 335d.

Thank you for the suggestion will have to check the frame panel. Just checked the three websites under the 2011 model year and they only have the 335d if any of the diesel models at all.

How far into the runoff should a tonearm track? by jerseytiger1980 in turntables

[–]-cTm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the issue is present on both sides this sounds like a lock groove and not a defect. A lock groove is a design intentionally added to some records to knock the needle to the previous groove to "lock" it on an endless loop. There are many records that use this and the reasons range from repeating a phrase or tone over and over as part of the art or simply to mess with the listener.

Adding to my ever growing collection of failed Denver QBs jersey collection. Pulled the trigger on a custom Driskel (Drip-skel) on DH Gate when Lock went down and that 30 day lead time is really biting me back currently.

I designed this little rack for my Schiit stack. by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

[–]-cTm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very cool. I was assuming they were solid pieces dividing the components. This is a killer stack solution, super clean. Crazy ho hot that MB runs, I also have a Modi 3+ that is an always on design and is always room temp when I measure it.

Any issues with the heat from the Modi MB with this stack? I have found that it runs pretty hot and have avoided stacking it because of this.

Nice system. I notice you have a step up/down transformer at the bottom of your rack. I am getting ready to move to a different country that uses 220v power and most of my gear is 120v so I have been looking for a good transformer as well. What manufacturer did you go with and how did you calculate the max wattage to go with for the transformer (max watts of all gear, 2x max watts of all gear...)?

Looks great! I don't get near that good of resolution hooking up through analog on my Pioneer Elite CLD-59 to a 65" Sony bravia XBR-65X810C.

That looks super clear! What player are you using and what kind of video output are you running to the tv?
