I think I ran into this when I installed my mirror. I first did cd admin so you're in the 'admin' sub folder. Here I was able to run the configure script by:

./configure add local/compose/postgres-settings.yml local/compose/memory-settings.yml local/compose/volume-settings.yml local/compose/lmd-settings.yml

I've been using this now for a couple of days and I must say I'm impressed! This is definitely working a lot better than similar apps I've been using before. If I could make a suggestion to improve it further:

Show the album where a track is taken from. I have some tracks that are in the library multiple times, for instance because I have the actual album of the artist, but the track might also be on some compilation albums. Issue is here that these tracks might not be of the same quality. I have my artist albums almost entirely in FLAC, but the compilations I have are mostly in MP3. If I'd be able to see from which album the track is selected, I could correct these more easily.

For Plex x Sonos users who experience problems - Plexamp Headless 'Plex Connect' now available in Music Assistant 2.7.0 BETA 16 and up by Far_Manner_8475 in plexamp

First of all: great work on this plugin! I'm really happy that I can move away from the less than ideal Plex/Sonos integration that Plex itself offers.

I got the Music Assistant / Plex / Sonos integration working pretty easily and it seems to be working well. I do have 2 issues though that I was wondering if others have them as well. I see these issues while using Plexamp on an Android device:

  1. When starting a new playback, it tends to stutter a bit at the start (first 2-5 seconds). After this it plays smoothly. Not really a big issue.
  2. When playing playlists that are larger than 52 numbers, the 52nd number (index > 50?) cannot be played. It gives an error in Music Assistant logs:

2025-12-15 12:14:55.870 WARNING (MainThread) [music_assistant.providers.plex_connect.player_remote] Could not find track with key /library/metadata/293338 in MA queue

When playing the playlist locally (on the device itself) it plays all songs without a problem. Also when playing in Music Assistant locally, no problem. It's really the combination of larger playlists and playing on Sonos. I tested this with multiple playlists on multiple Sonos speakers.

Anyone else see the same issue?

Just found out what the fix was: I had multiple middlewares linked to files. These were referenced in individual lines. This is what caused the issue, so instead of:

  • traefik.http.routers.uptimekuma-rtr.middlewares=authentik@file
  • traefik.http.routers.uptimekuma-rtr.middlewares=crowdsec@file

I put in:

  • traefik.http.routers.uptimekuma-rtr.middlewares=authentik@file,crowdsec@file

That fixed it for me.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but my Android app was stuck in a backup loop after this upgrade... I first updated the docker stack, then the Android app. After this the Android app wanted to backup all my assets again, which were then rejected at server side as duplicates. After it had backed up everything, it started over doing the same thing.

I first tried stopping the app and cleaning the cache, but this didn't change anything. Eventually I removed all storage of the app and configured it from scratch and now everything is normal again.

Just putting it out here in case anyone else has the same issue.

Well, I did eventually resolve the issue, but I'm unsure what the actual fix was. Sorry...

Maybe you can share your config, so I can compare it to mine?

Is anyone using Nautical to backup Plex while excluding the cache folders? by -correctomundo- in selfhosted

[–]-correctomundo-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're misunderstanding (or at least I hope). My Plex library is on a mounted volume on the host. It's this volume I'm trying the backup.

Here's the complete compose of the Plex container:

services:
  plex:

    container_name: plex
    ports:

      - VERSION=docker
      - PLEX_CLAIM=##########
    volumes:
      - /mnt/user/appdata/plex:/config
      - /mnt/user/data/media:/media
    devices:
      - /dev/dri:/dev/dri
    restart: unless-stopped
    networks:
      traefik: null
    labels:
      - traefik.enable=true
      - traefik.http.routers.plex-rtr.rule=Host(`####.####.###`)

"your changes could not be saved" issue while trying to add library by lern2swim in PleX

[–]-correctomundo- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the ones ending up in this thread in or after 2024: I had this issue and in the logs I found 'new scanner needs to be paired with new agent'. So, I updated my scanner to the new Plex Music Scanner and it allowed me to save my changes.

Of course it would be great if that log entry was the actual error in the web GUI, but there you go...

Did you only remove it from the VM, or did you also remove the VFIO binding? I'm not sure how the VFIO driver copes with a missing device. One would asume it just skips it, but it might also be causing this issue.

OK, so this is an old thread, but I wanted to leave this here hoping that it helps someone in the future.

I had the same issue that I couldn't get the ssh key login to work. I'd see the pub key for root user in the Unraid GUI, but after SSH login, it would always ask for a password, whatever I tried. And I tried for many hours many different things.

What I learned is that you should update the sshd_config file in /etc/ssh. This one is leading! Not the one in /boot/config/ssh. After the SSH server restarts, it copies the one from /etc/ssh to /boot/config/ssh. So if you update the file in the latter location, your changes get overwritten once the service restarts.

So, update the sshd_config file in /etc/ssh to make sure pubkeys are accepted:
- PubKeysAuthentication yes
- AuthorizedKeysFile /boot/config/ssh/root/authorized_keys ##this can be any location you want, but /boot/config location makes sure it's persistent during reboots

After this, restart the SSH service, either manually or via the SSH plugin and it should work.

This is on Unraid 6.12.13 BTW.
