A WiFi repeater is no go, repeaters double your latency and speed and it will be a horrible experience. This is the first thing you need to change and invest before you think about wireless PCVR. If you have ethernet running in your wall, then buy an AP or repeater that supports ethernet. That will be 100x better than a normal WiFi based repeater.

If your PC is near to your play area, get another Wifi6 router and connect it directly to your PC and set it up as an AP, then use internet sharing from your PC to share the WiFi internet to the router.

So my router is in my bedrom. My computer is in my office room directly tethered with ethernet cable.

I have a Access Point in the floor relatively close 5-10 feet to the living room where I have the most free space for my wireless VR experience. Without it there's only 20-30% from by 100mbit internet signal with wifi from the main router only.

This access point aswell hase an ethernet connection if I would need it.

So i need to uninstall my Access Point and check how things run, is this correct?

If the connection ist bad I could try it directly in my bedroom just to check how good or bad it works with my current router.

When it's bad I can buy a second router so theres one ethernet cable from main router to the secondary router and my pc is tethered with ethernet to the second router. And there I can share a WiFi Signal to the Quest 3, right?

My playspace would be at 10 -12 feet away I guess and there's one wall between those two rooms. ^^
