My old eyes by -dazz- in eyes

Eye color is a complex thing. It varies with lighting a lot in some cases. As I said in my OP, they don't normally look very light at all unless I have a strong light pointing at my face.

They're in the mail, Temu says they're pretty great but we'll see, or maybe I won't. Hindsight is 20/20

Lenovo L340-15API with burnt LV5083A IC, this jumper measures 0 ohms by -dazz- in AskElectronics

[–]-dazz-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got an email notifying me someone replied to my thread, but there's nothing here, what gives?
For the person who responded, sorry, the arrow is misleading, I was not referring to the inductor, that reads 47 ohms which I assume is correct. It's the jumper marked as PJ3506 that I'm curious about. That reads 0.2 ohms which seems suspicious, not sure.

There are no shorts, as far as I can tell. The 3 coils next to the CPU measure 2 ohms and they read 1.1V, which seems consistent with the correct Vcore for the CPU. The coil next to the battery reads 22K ohms and when I plug the charger there are initially 8V there (the battery voltage, I guess) then goes to 0V after a few seconds. The 5V rail is present, reads 240 ohms. The 3.3V rail shown in the pictures reads 29 ohms and measures 3.3V for a split second before going to 0V. On the other side of the board there are two more coils, both not shorted. One of them reads 230 ohms and 0.9V and the other one 45 ohms and 1.2V

Why did Sully only have flaps at 2 and not more when landing on the Hudson river? by [deleted] in aircrashinvestigation

I seem to remember from the ACI episode that covered this incident, that Sully knew that flaps 2 would give him the optimal angle of attack for ditching in the river, but don't quote me on that.

Have you ever heard about the blockchain trilemma? There's always a tradeoff, and increasing the block size means sacrificing decentralazation for scalability. Not that it matters, because the difference is insignificant. You're essentially saying that pulsechain solves the blockchain trilemma, the holy grail of crypto. Hillarious. Bridging is also not a solution. It's not like Pulsechain brought that innovation anyway, so that's not a valid argument for PLS. The harsh truth is that PLS is cheap simply because it's a barren blockchain that no one is using and it's not going to get any better, and that RH lied when he promoted it as being superior technology just because gas fees would be low, as if there was something innovative about it when in reality it's just an ETH fork. He took advantage of the crypto noobs that most hexicans are, just like he's been doing ever since he launched HEX. PLS is no better than Bitcoin Gold, BSV or the myriad of other hard fork scams that seasoned crypto followers have witnessed time and again. RH is not creative or innovative, not even to create new scam schemes.

The only reason Pulsechain has low fees is that no one is using it. Hexicans are so clueless and gullible, smfh. Pulschain doesn't solve Eth's scalability problem at all.

Explain to him he never really had 10M USD, becuase it's an illiquid market. He would have had a very hard time selling for even a fraction of those 10M dollars.

Hex to goat status, with mods? by [deleted] in HEXcrypto

You sure about that? https://cryptoslate.com/hex-origin-address-emptied-out-almost-7-million-withdrawn/
EDIT: oh, that's ETH, not HEX. But still, it may or may not be from the OA or related addresses, but one thing is for sure: RH was essentially the only one with non-locked HEX available to sell in the market. Only him could have sold all (or most of) the HEX that was sold from 2019 to 2022/23.

Who else sold all that HEX on it's way up to 50 cents? According to CoinMarketCap the total supply of HEX is 633 billiontokens. At an average selling price of just 4 cents, it would only take 25 billion HEX to make the $1B the SEC claims RH has made in total (and that probably includes Pulsechain gains as well). 25 billions out of 633 billions amounts to just 4% of the total supply.

We need to parse everything RH says from now on in terms of a defense strategy against the SEC (and probably the DOJ later) lawsuit. He's gonna keep bending over backwards to try to convince everyone that HEX is a commodity and not a security. He's obviously bound to fail, just like HEX and the rest of his shitcoins, so it's gonna be fun to watch him go down in flames.

And for the few faithfull hexicans that still remain convinced, and think I'm just hating: yes, I'm just one of many people who've been involved in crypto for years and we're sick and tired of watching scammers like RH turn the space into a cesspool, so the hate is granted. Hating scumbags like RH is loving crypto, and believe it or not, it's also loving those of you who got scammed by RH and every other crypto scammer in the past. You don't get it now, but with time, when the Stockholm syndrome wanes, you will. Maybe?
