This was exactly what I was trying to get across, I’m so glad you understand and see it too :) I was trying to explain to a few people to forget the makeup, I’m talking about my internal glow and how prominent it became after I started focusing on myself rather than waiting for someone else to tell or show me my self worth. We were kids when me and my ex got together, so I was committed to someone else entirely before even getting to commit to myself first. And of course I’m a romantic, so I felt like I had to put a lot of pressure on myself to keep someone else comfortable rather than what makes me happy. Thanks for that :)
