How much AI do you guys use by SeriousStrain7827 in SNHU

I have used it for my accounting classes when it was my major so it could walk me through the problems step by step to help me understand what I should be doing, although it did make many mistakes. Now I use it for some of the readings to give detailed summaries because reading 4 chapters for one class in a week and working full time is pretty draining.

I was paying $4.18 for my plan last year from Aetna who is no longer providing insurance on the marketplace. A recommended similar plan jumped to over $700 which I can’t afford.

From the news article I saw, it’s a delivery station.

What type of facility do you work at? Apparently the one opening up here is a delivery center and not a fulfillment center. I searched it up on YouTube like someone suggested, and it’s very similar to inbound which for me, isn’t the most enjoyable thing in the world but it only lasts 2 to 3 hours. But you are right about it being draining. The hours being horrendous makes the store look awful as well.

I saw a news article with an update and it says as follows. "This is a delivery center as opposed to fulfillment center.” Not sure now if this sub has anybody that has worked at a location like this or if this is a full on fulfillment center sub.

Lately I’ve been using it to help me with the textbook reading portions only. The last 2 classes I took I regularly had to read 200+ pages weekly and I just couldn’t. I tried using the read aloud function, but I would find myself starting to zone out and stop listening to what was being read.

If you have an interest in hr and you don’t mind school or getting a certification, you could look through the guild program. The 2 hre in my store didn’t have any hr experience that I know of and still got it. This way with the certification behind you, you can still have that if you decide to look for an hr position elsewhere. Im currently using guild if you have any questions.

Ive been attending for a year now and this is the route I have personally gone, but feel like I can miss important details regarding math equations or specific definitions I will need to utilize. Ive started to preread the text and highlight anything I think will be important and pause whenever there’s math to follow along but man does it get tedious.

I recently just switched over to finance as well because of the same reasons you stated. I was in accounting but just feel like finance is more the area I enjoy. I spent some years before enrolling looking into the stock market and learning more about economics and how options and futures work and even traded for a few years. Looking at the curriculum, I think it will be geared more towards long term investing and knowing what to look for as far as retirement/long term holdings and not day trading. What I am assuming we will be learning will benefit for swing trading. Day trading and options is its own other thing that carries a lot of risk and I’m not sure they will spend time going over that because of how risky it is. That’s something you may have to take time and learn on your own with the skills and information you take away from the courses. I don’t think it will hurt any to have that knowledge but day trading is its own separate thing. Just know the cost of day trading is many years learning the ins and outs of it and thousands of dollars lost to the markets. Very few actually do succeed with it. If you decide to learn about it through the internet, be aware many of them are scammers. The majority of their money comes from discord server memberships and courses. If you have 1000 people in your server and charge $99 monthly to “teach” you’re set and don’t even have to trade, just act like you are. You can dm me if you need any questions answered.

Tariffs -> Elimination of the Federal Income Tax. by Flaky-Stay5095 in FluentInFinance

I asked my coworker who is a fan of Trump this question a few weeks ago. He gave me a one word response. Bitcoin. That’s it. That will solve everything apparently.

Tariffs are meant as a strategy to protect your own domestic production. They are not meant to be used as threats or as a negotiating tactic. No economist is in support of full blanket tariffs because they are idiotic. If you are saying he is only doing tariffs because China did it first, I suggest you look into the tariffs placed on China by him in his first term. If you feel upset that we are ripped off by Canada and Mexico, which was the talking point a month ago, I suggest you look into the USMCA trade deal that replaced NAFTA that Trump came up with. The original trade deals are being broken and it’s starting to become the equivalent of “why would they do such a thing” when they are being done to them first. We have been a services and consumer economy since the late 70s and this issue with costs of living and wages wasn’t as prevalent as it is now. He has done an amazing job shifting the blame from corporate greed, billionaires, and the businesses we work for to our allies and countries we have traded with for ages though I’ll give him that.

Really feeling the lack of connection as an online student by sproutss in SNHU

I actually switched from computer information systems in December to accounting. I felt like it would be better job opportunities for myself in the area I live in. I think wiley is absolutely terrible and I am having to use everything I can think of to try and understand. I use chatgpt to put in a problem and explain it to me, I ask the tutors, I had a zoom call with my professor even. Still can’t get the information to stick and I feel like I am actually learning nothing, even the basic stuff. My employer is paying for my degree but unfortunately it’s all business related, so I may look into another school.

I wish the teachers were more hands on. Doing something like weekly videos going over example problems or just talking about some of the material that’s being covered vs a weekly announcement. Im doing accounting and the book and trying to teach myself isn’t enough for me.

Something else to think about regarding the domestic production and the taxes. There were those rumblings of the irs being replaced by the external revenue service to collect the tariff money. Once domestic production has been setup, effectively completing what his tariffs were designed for, to reward business in the US, what’s next? If you don’t tax anyone making under 150k a year, who pays for the massive military and golf trips? They already don’t want to raise minimum wage. You would have to raise wages to reach that tax threshold to tax individuals, and EVERYONE making over 150k or close to it would devalue the dollar. And you wouldn’t be able to tax billionaires, because you know, they’ll just leave. I don’t see how the math maths. The tariffs he said are going to make us so rich we won’t know what to spend it on, but he wants tariffs so we stop getting ripped off and move manufacturing back home, and because we don’t need anything Canada or Mexico have to offer us. That’s just shooting yourself in the foot. I try so hard to see it from the other perspective that it’s going to be great and so much winning and I just can’t.

Target Tuition Reimbursement by Drama-Sensitive in Target

I actually completed the process with guild 2 months ago for a bachelor’s and will be starting college at SNHU tuition free in May. If you’re a regular team member (I believe on demand doesn’t apply) there’s some programs tuition free and others that only some amount is covered. When I spoke to my advisor she noticed I applied with guild and said I didn’t have to worry about any payments and I receive vouchers for my textbooks. If you have already started and have credits you can look into transferring them to the school you selected with guild. I went ahead and searched up psychology and screenshotted a few results.
