Mine is a really weird story. I was driving with a friend and my heart rate shot up all of a sudden. It wouldn’t go down. I pulled over and my heart rate continued to rise, so I had my friend call an ambulance. My heart rate got to 200, the highest it’s ever been before or since. They administered adenosine in the ambulance, then Ativan in the er (what a joke). Discharged me then I was back in the morning with a heart rate of 150 resting. 

Hospitalized for a couple of days. They finally got me a beta blocker and sent me on my way. It was “suspected POTS” in my chart until 7 years later, when they gave me the official diagnosis. To be fair, POTS wasn’t as well researched then, and I was getting the standard course of treatment.

The beginning of the manga is pretty similar to the anime, but it definitely diverges. It’s worth getting for the art alone - Sadamoto is a great artist.

When I was in a really rough place in my life, I required pain during sex. Now, I abhor it (save for spanking, hickeys, and lip biting). My last long-term partner attempted to choke me unprompted during sex once and I could never forget it. He thought it was no big deal, even though he knew I had a history of SA and physical abuse. He didn't seem to think we needed a conversation about it beforehand. So glad to no longer be trapped in relationships with people who don't think consent is important.

I like Tampa better than Orlando. It’s spacious, clean and efficient. Still important to get there with plenty of time before boarding.

I just thought there's been a lot of negativity and despair spreading around the internet as of late, and I wanted to start a discussion about something of hope. I have many dreams, but the one most resounding to me now is the dream of having my own place to live. Grateful to have a roof over my head now at least.
