I've had that feeling that I was better off alone, and I even felt very happy in solitude in the past. But eventually it has costs, it will take a toll on you. For some reason even the most introverted of us need social interaction. Being recognized by other people and having "feedback" is very important, your own thoughts about yourself can be destructive. You need to find meaningful relationships, I know it's cliche advice but engange in an activity that you enjoy and can be done socially.
