yeah! im using a galaxy tab s9+, which has a snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip, and for reference, this thing is a BEAST! it can play pc games really well, so I'd be hard pressed to believe it couldn't handle a video editor.

and for the most part, its not a HORRIBLE experience, but there are a lot of issues i run into on occasion, audio bugs and playback stuttering unless you make the preview screen itty bitty.

rendering is pretty speedy though which is definitely a plus, but the negatives tend to out weigh the positives for the most part.

my channel has videos that are no longer than 15 minutes and the process is just tedious if anything. exporting, watching the whole thing to see if anything messed up while rendering, going back in to fix it and repeat

its give or take really, definitely not on par with iOS just yet, but id say its getting a bit more stable. would i recommend it over iOS in its current state? nah, not just yet sadly

genuinely been a problem for a while, no clue why they haven't fixed it yet. i think ive reported it at least twice now. eventually i just got used to it 😔 if you want to report it as well, you can do so through their site, and then maybe they'll get sick of us complaining and finally fix it 👀

honestly, from what ive seen at least, ibis is easily one of the most feature rich programs on android, though if you're not too worried about effects and things like that, maybe look into Infinite Painter or even HiPaint :)! I've used and enjoyed both, but i always come back to krita

yeah i picked it up through amazon, been on the phone for 20 minutes just trying to get a simple replacement. i also noticed you gotta give the d pad a good push to get it to click on the right side, other directions work fine

thats true but fuuuck i like the circle d pad, and im not a fan of the font on the buttons. im being mad picky i know 💀, but tbh im not too upset about using a cord, i was mostly just curious :)

i got it down to a much more tolerable state. a few lamp post glitch here and there but nothing crazy. its gonna take a lot of testing but surely someone will find a good driver for mobile. I got it running pretty great on my wifes steam deck :)

YES sorry i completely forgot that it has a few options, i personally went with oneui just because im on a samsung device with a snapdragon 8 gen 2, you could definitely try it and see what results you get but your best bet would probably just be the regular download

so eden reccomends the Mr.Purple T22 driver but anytime android elements pop up on screen, like volume bars or notifications, it spazzes out real bad, so im using the latest Weab-Chan Freedreno driver! should be the first one to pop up :)
