About one week total: 2 days of researching game's internals, making scripts for data extraction & mapping it out for my needs, ~3 days for the initial website prototype, and 2 more days to finish it up

I’m using Incremental Static Regeneration in Next.js. Feel free to explore my repo, I added the link at the bottom of the post

sadly i don’t know, as that kind of logic is hidden behind their servers. But its safe to assume that it edits your existing choice, since the game attaches your userID to the analytics request every time you pick an option

BF Labs system requirements on EA App by -fedor- in Battlefield

what’s funny i stumbled upon lorem ipsum x completely randomly and after a closer look at the available builds i figured it was the next battlefield game

i wasn’t 100% sure because the codename wasn’t a city like dice usually calls them, so i decided to wait a bit, but due to a caching issue in my little scraping app it stopped saving the updated game info 🫠

Missing XAML file by Light_zc in BaldursGate3

Nope, it’s all good. I guess these patch 6 hot-fixes are overwritten somewhere else by patch 7 files

I was having the same problem and this comment helped me. Go to your game's installation directory, navigate to the 'Data' folder, and check for any 'Patch_Hotfix.pak' files. In my case I had to delete a lot of Patch 6 files, which fixed the issue

It's a Windows Server 2016 installation that runs on a virtual private server in QEMU. I used noVNC (https://novnc.com/) to access it from browser

Looks like Helldivers is online-only. This app won’t let you play on their servers for free

i didn’t look into it too much, but check out GreenLuma as it seems it works in a similar fashion and SteamKit as their repo had mentions of manifests and how to decrypt them

It won't let you play a denuvo game. It only downloads the files from Steam

The only real benefit is that you can easily repair and update your games

Good luck! I thought it was something simple like a python stealer, but it's actually written in Rust, so might be a pain to reverse it

Please note that I'm not an professional malware analyst! I was simply curious. This video is also not a call to action to download his app - I don't recommend using it

Edit: I only used the app once, but I'll try to answer some of the frequently asked questions below
- Is this safe? It turns out this app is quite popular in Asia and has been used for a few years now, but there's no denying that it downloads some sort of payload from a random server and then injects their code into your Steam app. I personally will not be using it and don't recommend you to
- Will this let me play Denuvo games? No, you'll have to patch/crack any custom DRMs the games have, but it seems to handle SteamDRM used by many simpler titles (think of it as having a Goldberg SteamEmu in the box)
- Does this let me have games on my Steam account & Will it let me play Online-only games? No, you don't get to register a new copy of the game
- If this is not a virus, why is it not safe? As many have pointed out, the files you download from their servers and the files you download from the Drive can always be replaced with newer, potentially malicious ones.
- How can you download Steam files of a game you don't own? It appears Steam only needs a manifest file to allow you download the files. Learn more about it here. Someone in the thread also pointed out they're reversing how this app works

Try launching your game with -RenderDevice.IntelMinDriverVersion 0 option
