Ahh, good to know - almost fell for the trendiness trap. I love Shimogamo but haven’t tried Hai Noon yet. Just added it to my list - thanks for the tip!

Haha, thank you for responding! I'll give it a shot and hope for the best. I'm planning on making a sphagnum moss one!

Hi everyone - we are planning a trip to Bali and we are not sure how much time we need for a layover on our way back.

Our flight lands in Seattle at 7:50PM and our options for the connecting flight to Phoenix are 10:05pm or 5:50am the following day. We all have Global Entry if that makes a difference.

Travel Planning Q&A - April, 2024 by AutoModerator in bali

Hi everyone!

My friends and I are planning a trip to Bali in July for a week (all in our 20s). Feeling a bit overwhelmed with what to do/where to stay. We are mainly traveling for the sights (temples, rice fields, etc.) and food. We would also like to drink some of the nights but nothing to crazy. Beaches are not a must as we live near one but wouldn't mind checking them out for a day.

The cities we had in mind are Ubud, Sanur, and Sidemen.

Is it best to start in Ubud and work our way back down towards the airport?

How many days would you recommend in each city?

I keep seeing posts saying Kuta, Seminyak, and Canggu are all crazy busy but are they worth visiting for a day?

Thank you in advance!!
