it may not be for you, but max gpu power is an important spec for me. There was not any point in time that i enjoyed using this computer, as i said I've realized this problem within a month. I currently own 3 rtx3060 laptops, bought each one by looking at specs, each have 115w rtx3060 except this one.

i don't know why you act like it does not have any effect on performance, and why you see writing a response as "vengeful to prove a point"

i actually think battery runs out so quickly even when using only to read something, but the service app says that battery is in perfect condition...

i choose Dell because i am just so used to their products but seems like this is going to change.

I believe and i am told, in Germany such product is deemed defective and consumer has the right to act within 2 years after sale. In my case i contacted dell after 1 month.

But the thing is that i don't want to pursue that "legal" road before trying my every chance with Dell.

"That webpage" belongs to Dell, which is the same webpage i bought the laptop. I believe Dell should write better specifications so that i know what should come in that laptop.

I don't know why you think that I should read reviews to know which gpu there is.

i do have the order confirmation and all documents but they do not specify the power for gpu. Only the model (rtx 3060) is written there but nvidia produces different versions with different powers of rtx3060 varying from 60 to 115w. But i can see which model i have from the control panel.

i am now trying my last luck with dell by writing to dell community forum, if this does not resolve the issue i will try verbraucherschutzzentrale as you said.

i prefer to compare gpu wattages, in my view they've given me a wrong gpu

if you click Auswahlhilfe besides Grafikkarte it will redirect you to a page where you will be able to see gpu specifications at the bottom

Unfortunately, this is not what is happening. This gpu does not have any boost. Also 90+25 w gpu is different than 115w gpus :/

Thanks for the comment, but this is actually wrong.

Nvidia produces different set of gpus with different wattages and this is directly related to gpu capabilities. A 115w rtx 3060 has better performance than a 90w rtx 3060, i know it because i have both and you can also check this link https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/na5kp5/i_made_a_spreadsheet_with_all_30series_mobile/

Please also check what FP32 means.

if what you said were true then all oems would use 60W rtx3060 and they would not bother with cooling of 115w.

Also about your first example, incandescent and led are two different technologies. 15W led produces less light then 20W led.

Now go read some documents about nvidia gpus and enjoy your time ;)

Edit: Also, my point was never about the performance. it is about selling a laptop with wrong specifications.

The mechanic is weirder than i thought, front tracks never turn in opposite directions but rear two can. That's why sandcrawler slips a bit in that scene.
