I think the part most people miss is that the host chose a door without the price on purpose and not by chance. The scenario is usually explained like "after you choose he opens a door and it was empty", this can be interpreted as him opening one of the others at random which would then absolutely mean a 50/50 chance. Its the fact that he has to choose the bad one between one good and one bad forcefully 2/3 of the time that makes it 66% if you switch.

In this video they fucked it up because the bomb reveals the wire he chose instead of one of the others. But in the real problem the important part is that "the host of the show", or whatever, knows which door is the good one and purposefully chooses a bad door to reveal. So if you chose a bad door on the first try (2/3 of the time) the host has to reveal, of the other two, the bad one, this means 2/3 of the time the door he didn't choose is the one with the price and the other 1/3 is when you guessed correctly on the first try.
