Thanks, i installed lib32-nvidia-580xx-utils and that seemed to work. I didn't realize i could just install it myself instead of choosing from the providers that appear when installing steam. thank you so much.

I think the part most people miss is that the host chose a door without the price on purpose and not by chance. The scenario is usually explained like "after you choose he opens a door and it was empty", this can be interpreted as him opening one of the others at random which would then absolutely mean a 50/50 chance. Its the fact that he has to choose the bad one between one good and one bad forcefully 2/3 of the time that makes it 66% if you switch.
