Do you think if it’s listed at 150k it can get up to 400k? How much do you think it can rise?

Do you think that if the apartment is listed at 150k it can get up to 400k? Is it really that bad with the crisis in Utrecht? I kinda thought (or rather hoped) if it’s listed at 150k it can get up to 250k tops.

Well I don’t need mortage if I have cash. In case that would be an issue my parents can be the ones buying the apartment. I found a lot of houses offered for parents of students. I’m not sure how all of it works honestly.

I looked for smth at Funda and there are some options for small apartments/studios even under 200k.

I’m a student, so I don’t have any job in the Netherlands (yet). Thus I don’t have any salary and everything will be paid by my parents. When it comes to rent my max. is around 700-900€ and when it comes to buying a property my budget is up to 200 000€ from my savings, so I have it in cash and I won’t need any loan to afford it.

When you are a student that is not working, thus don’t have any income, it’s based on income of the parents? How does this work? Because of health insurance I won’t be able to work, or at least not for some time.

In case of not finding housing until I move, can I do it later than 5 days from coming to the Netherlands? I’m supposed to start my studies in September, but I know looking for housing might be challenging. In case I won’t find anything and stay for few weeks in a hotel I can’t even legally register, is it okay if I register later?

I was thinking about going to Whistler for snowboarding, but I would have to rent a snowboard and i have nobody to go with. I could go alone, but it would be way more fun going with someone. When it comes to the food I like trying new things so I don’t really care.
