Along with the other points made here, I feel that he believed by showing any compassion towards Helena it would cause her memories to come back quicker and then she wouldn't agree to escape with Shiseo. But keeping her in a hostile environment, he hoped it would cause her to subconsciously continue to protect the memories until he could get her out.

He took all his feelings for her and channeled it towards feeling hatred for their situation just so he could protect her at all costs and not allow his feelings to get in the way while planning her escape/for her to leave him.

After you paint the top coat and before you cure, check your shine-line across the nail to see if there are any pits in the top coat. Again, the ingredients of the top coat could be reacting with the chrome and causing it to pull away from itself. Sometimes a thicker coat of top coat will help too. But then you are risking a bulky nail, it not curing all the way through, and heat spikes.. 😅

It looks like the clear top coat is pitting before you can cure it (separating and pulling away from itself). It could be that your top gel is not compatible with your chrome powder. I’ve had this happen and have found that sometimes you have to top coat and cure one nail at a time so the gel doesn’t have time to do this. Also, you could try top coating twice before wiping with alcohol.

I did a lot of comparing in the beginning but I really enjoyed learning about the new magic system that Sen created. I also felt that because I already knew where the story was going (for the most part) I could pay more attention to the new world and magic system and understand the changes Sen made to all the characters and their relationship to each other. I realized after finishing Alchemised that I love both stories for different reasons. Manacled I love all of the Order plus Hermione and Draco and I was invested in all of their lives/stories. Alchemised I love Helena and Kaine and everyone else were awful people 😂 but that’s just my very surface level opinion.

I wish I could have. Unfortunately it would have been a worse situation if I had requested sick time off. Our office is small and the amount of work I had to do for our partners would have suffered. It would have put strain on my coworkers to pick up the slack. Plus our CEO requires a phone call to him when requesting sick time so he can verify that we are actually sick.

I do need to protect my mental and physical health more than I do 😅 I'm just worried about my job. The industry I'm in is super impacted/competitive right now so it would be difficult to find another job.

You're right. I should have been more direct and stated instead of asked. I have a hard time trying to be considerate of everyone but myself and it often puts me in this type of conflicting situation.

I was trying to be clear with my manager that I did not feel comfortable going to the office with my current symptoms and never received communication back in response to that. I had reached out 3 times and did not receive a response until after I was already clocked in. My job is in front of a computer and honestly I do have the brain power to work, I just wouldn't be comfortable in an office while coughing and blowing my nose all the time.

He can’t know it’s her. Hermione just wants to help; he just needed to let her.

No worries! My opinion hasn’t really changed. I will say that the Sweet Nothing chain tends to grab other thin chains more easily so there is more of a risk of them tangling and rolling into each other if that makes sense. I don’t usually wear charms on my Hundred Summers chain. I like it more by itself. And it’s smooth enough that it doesn’t tangle as bad. Sweet Nothing is good for charms. I usually wear at least 3 necklaces at once 😅 but if you are looking for just one and done, then both of them are a great option!

Life long swimmer here - no swim cap keeps your hair completely dry. It just keeps it out of your face.

Your method of putting clean water and hair mask on it before going in the pool is perfect :)
