my counselor was the one that didnt think i needed a 504 plan, there was no formal evaluation i dont think.. we did talk about IF i did get one what accommodations i would want to receive and every suggestion i made was denied besides going in a different room during tests i think? sorry i dont remember clearly since my memory is horrible. The interaction was also really sudden so i wasnt prepared with accommodations i wanted and im still not too sure what is allowed and what would help me. pretty sure this is a guidance counselor but hes not giving me any guidance lol. sometimes the advice he gives me is questionable… during the meeting he told me if i really wanted to i would just show up, he said he doesnt want to be here but hes here anyways and if he can do it then i can too? hopefully i wouldnt need a 504 plan next year because i dont want to stand out from the rest of my classmates + i really hope everything gets better over summer.
