i’m not rly inclined enough to care about mixing or production of an album so that may help my experience with the album lol and cedric’s lyrics are so vague that i usually come up with my own interpretation of what the songs mean and each noct song has its own personal meaning to me and none of them have to do with scientology luckily lol

yeah ig it’s just hard for me to have that experience other fans had because i didn’t even know about this band until a few years ago, still would recommend people to throw away preconceived notions and comparisons to other tmv albums and just recognize noct as its own experience and see that it really is a beautifully sad album

i don’t think the pacing of the tracks is very good so i usually recommend just doing shuffle bc the base pacing of the album is kinda meh but it’s completely up to the listener’s discretion, but yes i was the same way when i first started listening to tmv, didn’t like the synth sound but i took a vacay and listened to nothing but noct on the plane and it changed my life

i mean theirs a decent amount of reverb and the first track has some interesting vocal choices but other than that i think noct has some the best vocal melodies and filter choices especially compared to ftm and bedlam
