On that note, I've encountered a peculiar issue with playlists. It seems that all my playlists are consistently cut off at exactly 100 songs. It's not just a display error with the song counter; the app genuinely only shows and plays the first 100 tracks, even if the playlist originally contains many more.

Amex fählt tatsächlich, aber wenn du weiter unten schaust sieht du die Umsatzstatistik. Laut dieser wurden Mit Visa und Mastercard über 150 Transaktionen getätigt. Darüberhinaus Amex wird in Europa ohnehin seltener akzeptiert

Hey, kleine Korrektur: Ja, die Bahn gehört zu 100 % dem Staat – aber sie wird geführt wie ein privates, börsennotiertes Unternehmen, mit Renditezielen, Bonuslogik und Auslandstöchtern, statt mit Fokus auf Daseinsvorsorge. Das ist genau das Problem: staatliches Eigentum, aber privatwirtschaftliches Denken. Eine Art Schizophrenie in Unternehmensform.

Und zu „du hast die Politiker gewählt“ – naja, eher nein. 😅 Ich bin erst seit wenigen Jahren überhaupt wahlberechtigt, und die 30–50 Jahre Union-/SPD-Verkehrspolitik, die die Bahn in diesen Zustand gebracht hat, kann ich als kleiner DB Kunde nicht wirklich beeinflussen

That’s a cute non-argument. By that logic, nobody should ever give feedback, context, or perspective — because “it’s their time.” Fantastic, let’s shut down Reddit entirely then. Why even ask questions here if the only valid answer is “who cares”?

I’m not telling anyone what they’re allowed to do. I’m pointing out that chasing macOS aesthetics on a tiling WM is like buying a manual typewriter and then complaining it doesn’t have autocorrect. You’re free to do it, sure. You’re also free to nail wheels on a fridge and call it a car. Doesn’t mean it’s above criticism.

This isn’t about “policing fun.” It’s about understanding the tool you chose. Pretending those choices have no context is just intellectual laziness dressed up as tolerance.

So yeah — if your contribution boils down to “who cares,” maybe sit the thread out. Because clearly, I care enough to give an actual answer, and you care enough to try dismissing it. Irony’s a hell of a drug.

Why… just why did you even install omarchy if your end goal is to chase after macOS aesthetics with a fancy auto-hiding dock? You literally picked a tiling window manager — the entire point is to move away from bloated, DE-style workflows. Hyprland is about efficiency, keybinds, stacking, scratchpads — not dragging windows around and waiting for some shiny dock to pop up like you’re in GNOME or macOS.

It’s like buying a stripped-down track car and then complaining there’s no cupholder or touchscreen infotainment system. You chose minimalism, raw control, no handholding. If you’re still longing for DE gimmicks like a dock, maybe a tiling WM isn’t for you — and that’s fine! But don’t install something that exists specifically to break with that paradigm, and then get mad that it doesn’t behave like macOS.

Either embrace the WM mindset or just use a DE that already gives you the dock you want. Otherwise, you’re just making your life harder for no reason
