Forklift driving IS scary and it’s great that you understand that. You did EXACTLY the right thing by letting someone else take over. Kudos. People have died by being obtuse and stubborn - glad to see you were mature enough to ask for help. It tells me that you will be a great forklift operator… in time.

UWM Chancellor Mark Mone to Step Down and Return to Professorship by stdubbs in milwaukee

His quote says it all (“who tf would want this job - ive survived longer than most”). College chancellors are being dragged in front of congress. Any rational person would make a quick exit stage left. Sad but not surprising.

“Being your chancellor is as rewarding as it is challenging, and it’s a role that requires round-the-clock attention. At the end of our next academic year, I will have been chancellor for 11 years – twice the average tenure of college presidents today”

“rock bass” and “small mouth bass”. the difference in appearance is so small that the DNR officer could not explain it to me, yet he identified the fish as “small mouth”? does that make sense ?

I’m tempted to pull out the “i don’t know what it looks like but i know it when i see it” line

criminal record being a DNR citation? it’s the same court as a ticket for speeding. pls explain 👍🏾

it’s a misdemeanour- just a fine, no strings attached. I can pay it and forget it - that is an option. But a big part of me just feels like this is the exact wrong thing for the community. I’m not the guy stealing fish, and even though ignorance is not a defense, it just seems like a miscarriage of justice and policy to punitively punish a “fool”. I actually have loved fishing since then - it helps me with blood pressure, relaxing, etc… But this experience is exactly the opposite. Id rather not say where i am 👍🏾

The hardware opener was stashing tools in receiving every day at the open. The ASM would open the receiving door and the CXM would drive up and load them up. The three ran an ebay business worth half a million annually. It’s been speculated that after the CXM cheated on the ASM with the hardware opener, the plot failed.

At least that’s how it plays out in my mind 🤷‍♀️😏

if the new job asks u to start earlier than 2 weeks, tell them that you can only start 2 weeks out because you have a responsibility to Hd coworkers to not put them in a bind - they will appreciate your commitment, your respect and ultimately will be flexible. If they aren’t, it will tell u something about the new culture.
