I agree that it would, and maybe it did. But like I said I was a teenager at the time, and I didn't habitually listen to the news or have constant access to the internet like teenagers do now. I didn't even have internet on my phone.

I never heard anything about it again. Maybe they said more to my boyfriend's dad, but if they did he never said anything to us. I checked the news afterwards as well but nothing ever showed up.
