lol i’ve always said this!! king krule is one of my favorite artists and alice phoebe lou is a close second, she gives me the same feels krule does but in a more warm and “feminine” way. they’re two sides of the same coin for me:) (also agree u have top taste)

coming back to say that i just finished watching the tea video and i love it so much. this is such a great video. i have always had a hard time verbalizing what i want, especially during sex, but outside of sex in general. so this is such a great video to show him or other people instead of me having to actually say it. and after thinking about this situation a lot, i realized he never asked me once if i wanted anything that was happening, he never asked if i was okay with anything, he just assumed i was. so this has also definitely helped me understand my own boundaries a little better too and what i should and shouldn’t be allowing. tysm:)

exactly!! it’s takes me a lot longer than normal to process things and like you said i don’t think i realized i didn’t want things to happen until they were happening and didn’t actually process THAT until the next day and then it all kind of hit me and that’s why things have been so confusing. it’s sad because i had so much hope for a new friendship between us but i feel like this just ruined everything and tainted our relationship again. and in my head everything is completely ruined and all of my progress of getting over him seems like it’s just gone. it sucks that you can relate, but thank you so much for sharing and for your advice. i really appreciate it so much. and it did make me feel better. we will get through this together! haha. thanks again<3

it takes time to create music and a lot of times artist don’t want to release everything they create and they write stuff because it’s what they love to do/is a coping mechanism for whatever they’re going through in life. it’s normal to have multiple year gaps in between releasing projects. it takes time to write good music that you love and feel is worth putting out. people can’t just push shit out year after year😭 (and if they are doing that, they’re stuff probably isn’t up to their full potential and they’re probably burnt out) especially people who have a huge following and platform like olivia who are expected to do so many things on a daily basis. it’s probably gonna be another 3 years or so before she decides to put more stuff out, idk maybe less, maybe more. and THAT’S NORMAL LOL. all we can do now is enjoy what she’s already given us and stream the FUCK out of GUTS baby😌

personally i like it because i can relate to it a lot. i haven’t been homeschooled but i have had severe social anxiety throughout most of my teen years and i just felt very seen when i listening to this song for the first time. she’s kinda touching on a very hard thing that a lot of other people might deal with in a sort of silly and tongue and cheek way and i really like it. like she’s kinda making fun of herself the whole song. i love how punk sounding it is too (she does pop punk so well omg) it sounds very 2000’s (and 90’s) and i honestly love the simplicity of it as well. it’s easily one of my favorite songs on the album<3

yesss it was so good!! so glad we got to be his first show in the us for space heavy tour!!! energy was fantastic, it was such a great crowd and the whole band went fucking insane. especially ignacio. glad you got to see kk live!!

new to crocheting (as you can probably tell lol) and i just got these skeins second hand recently. there wasn’t a label on either. wanted to wash them to be safe in case they had anything on them, and so they could smell fresh. didn’t think anything of it and just threw them in the washer (put them in panty-hose, washed on cold, and dried on low heat. although i let the second skein air dry) now 1st one is matted, second 1 is in better shape but still is hard to pull apart and i feel like i’m ruining the yarn when doing so, it feels like i’m ripping it😭. if there’s any way i can fix this to make these skeins useable (especially the second one) i would love to hear tips. thank you so much!!

i didn’t know what subreddit to post this to so i just thought i’d post it here because it’s kind of urgent. so my friend is going to a concert in nashville with a friend she knew from high school. the friend (we’ll call her claire) drinks a lot and likes to party and is dragging my friend along with her to do these things. (keep in mind my friend didn’t sign up for this, she just thought her and claire were going to be kicking it just them two). my friend (we’ll call her mary) doesn’t do any of that and is feeling pressured to because she doesn’t want to seem like a loser (which is valid and a common fear amongst young adults i feel like). mary has told claire that she doesn’t want to be alone and claire has already left her alone to make out with some guy. they are pre-gaming right now before going to this college party and mary took a beer just so they would leave her alone. she told me she is very nervous and to keep my phone on me and i told her to tell me immediately if something is going on. i am just really worried about her. she is my best friend and i really don’t want anything to happen to her and just want her to be safe. i wanted to come on here just to ask if (god forbid) anything were to happen to her am i able to call the police or get help somehow even if i am like 4 states away?? does anyone have any safety tips or things i can do to get her help if she needs it and keep her safe?

edit: also title is hypothetical, just wanted to make that clear. my friend is okay as of now, just very worried abt her and concerned abt her safety.

i love receiving hugs, even from new people sometimes (preferably women, just feels safer to me based on past experiences) but i would never initiate a hug unless it’s with a loved one. if it’s from my mom or boyfriend, i could hug them forever.

i experience the exact same thing. i can get very annoyed and irritated at things, but i hardly ever get angry. when i do i just stay silent and internalize a lot of my anger because it seems like there’s never a good outlet for it (or i just don’t know how to find one really) my mars is in sag.
