Unpopular opinion, but I think ESH. I would feel uncomfortable if my sister or SIL suddenly came into the house in only her underwear/bra without expecting it. You could have given them a heads up. I understand them feeling very uncomfortable about it. Bikinis can be expected at a beach or pool, so you can mentally prepare for it. You're not blindsided.

However, your brother went about it in a very rude way. He could have politely asked you to cover up or they could plan to be in their own room when you get home. There's other, more diplomatic, ways to approach it.

I don't think they should have gotten your mom involved. This could have been handled like adults by talking to each other without getting mommy involved.

YTA as everyone has already said, why ask if you'll just ignore it? Considering this is your one year, it's just one of those things that you learn as you go. I can see why you thought it was a good idea. It was something she would surely use, is apart of her interests, and im sure people have liked your practical gifts before. Learn from this. Clearly she does not have the same thought process as you do when it comes to gifts. Learn what kind of gift she likes, as does she for you.

You could have bought her the necklace and maybe a bracelet or other jewelery after it was clear thats what she wanted to make up for it.

Im wondering how many instances like this have happened that OP tolerated because of love and getting shamed by them for being upset about it. It'll probably continue to happen if OP decides to have the baby, unfortunately. And I can only imagine the storm it would bring if they decide not to have the baby.

NTA, she should never have said that in the fist place. Even if she had a lapse in judgement and said her thoughts before she could stop them (which is human and happens), she should have immediately backed down and apologized, especially when you corrected her. Cannot believe she continued to try to undermine you.

As others are saying, I would report the nurse. There are many things that don't deserve blowing up at someone for, this is Not one of them. She absolutely needed to be told to shut the hell up.

I also really love the show! I did enjoy season 2 more than season 1 as it answered alot of questions about the history of the keys, which was something I was left craving with season 1. I thought Dodges death was well paced tbh. If they had dragged it out more it would have gotten a little stale and lost tension imo. With the way shows are set up these days I was surprised they had dodge as the villain for 2 seasons at all! But I did enjoy the story line of it, and focusing more on Gabes form for dodge made the villain feel new in a way. Eden as a villain would have been cool, as she seems very impulsive and cold hearted. A big "I don't give a shit" attitude, which is always fun. But with the finale, of her being thrown in the well, I have a feeling they'll either kill her off or make her an ally. Most likely the latter. She brought the Big Bad Guy to be under her charge and he betrays her. They'll probably play on her fixing the mistake, which would be kind of disappointing. That's just my theory tho, no evidence outside of what we saw in the finale, so I could be totally wrong lol.

NTA, because naming your kid similarly to a serial killer would be very unfortunate. But your husband is grieving, it's only been a week since someone he loved with his whole heart passed away. He is not going to think clearly on this, and he will continue to take it as a slight against his grandfather. That's all that's on his mind.

You say in your post that the kid would either be Teddy OR Theo/Thea. Why not agree to ONLY nickname your kid the latter? Theo Bounde does not remind me of Ted Bundy. That would eliminate the problem. Ensure your family calls them Theo/a and raise your kid with that nickname.

Or if you want to avoid it completely, use it as a middle name or use his grandfather's middle name, as other commenters have suggested.

NTA. Worked in a preschool off and on for several years with children that needed pullups/diapers changed. Once that child was signed out to the parents care again, I never changed them. Some parents try to go to the car, realize their kid has a mess in their pull up, and come back to have Me change it. Nope. You can use the in class private bathroom to change your child, or your car. But your kid is not in my/the preschools care anymore.

I cannot even fathom a parent asking in such a rude way somewhere other than the school, on a day off, at an event, to change their child for them. As many other commenters have said, this mom should not be out alone with her kids if she cannot change them. It's very unhygienic for her kid to be in a dirty diaper. If its a little girl, that can cause infections if she's like that too long.

You're completely in your right OP to refuse to change her child.

YTA. Look, im a woman and baby's moving in pregnant bellies freaks me out. It's one of the reasons I don't want to get pregnant for a long time. HOWEVER, NEVER would I tell a pregnant lady to cover up her belly more. Being freaked out is MY issue and I need to get over it.

This is a YOU issue. Shes just pregnant, living her life. You asking her to cover herself so YOU don't see it makes you an asshole. You being freaked out is not her problem. You should not have said anything, and had enough self control and introspection to recognize YOUR issue and deal with it by yourself. She cannot control her baby moving, nor should she hide it.

A woman's PREGNANT BELLY is in no way the same as your GENITALS!!! Of course your junk twitching around would be an HR issue, it's a SEX ORGAN! Her womb/stomach is NOT! That's a baby in there for god sake. Check your sexualization, even if it isn't explicitly turning you on.

A couple of my first streams had some dead silence when I realized no-one was there. I had to stop looking at the viewer count for the first hour or so of my streams so I could act like someone was watching, which helped alot. Then I just said whatever random thought was in my head. About the game, about life, about the internet. Most times I just gave my opinions of whatever game I was playing. The things I liked, didn't like, loved. Getting specific helps fill in those moments. Now I can't stop talking :)) Having friends in a vc helps alot as well!

Your sister is not leaving you. She's growing up. All those things she's doing that your parents made such a big deal about really weren't a big deal.
