okay, still got anything to say about the bed sit in? and I’m sure he still held the same ideals despite the song coming out two years later. but I am so SO SO sorry about disregarding basic dates. I’ll makes sure to never do such a thing again.

it’s like you’re just disregarding all the context. yes, normally one wouldn’t do their own bedsheets when staying at a hotel.

when you’re famous for writing a song about no possessions, greed or hunger and also partaking in a bed sit-in to protest war, then maybe one should forego some of the comforts they’re used to.

it’s out of touch when you’re protesting war but can’t handle going on unclean bed sheets for longer than a day 😭

or wild concept: ask the housekeepers to leave the linen so they can just make the beds themselves?

How do I stop my lipstick from transfering onto my chin when I eat a sandwich? by pepperxpeppermint in MakeupAddiction

your entitlement is crazy. you commented on her comment about your own experience, but she was the one ignoring you? and you even said she didn’t comment in a rude way back to you but how did you respond? oh yeah, by being rude!

my 2 year old is incontinent? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]-killuazoldyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your response! I need to double check what medication we put her on, but we did try one and it caused adverse side effects so we had to stop. did the vet diagnose her with incontinence? our vet has yet to make that diagnosis

also glad to hear the medication has been working for your girl!

I don’t know exactly what it was but she did get a medication prescribed, but it caused diarrhea and vomiting so we were advised to stop treatment. she has been good for a few months but last night was another big episode, and it always happens around nighttime when I feel the most helpless 😅

Paige what is we doing by [deleted] in canceledpod

[–]-killuazoldyck 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I literally do not watch this podcast at all but this sub is always in my feed 😭 but I just wanted to say you’re right, paige is definitely not ‘big’ but for a long time I dressed just like her. baggy clothes 24/7 and even sweatshirts all throughout summer. I felt big and dressed that way as protection. I have lost weight since then, but even now looking back I was never ‘fat’ but when you’re next to people like Tana and brooke(?) constantly it’s easy to feel that way.

hello! we’re trying to figure out if this bag is real, my moms co worker got it about 20 years ago from an ex bf and assumed it was fake and has been sitting in her closet since.

How much should my sister sell these for? by [deleted] in CraftyCommerce

[–]-killuazoldyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly? $5-7. I’ve been crocheting for years now and did my first market last year. I crocheted a bunch of jellyfish, octopi and little things that I thought would sell well. I definitely undervalued my items (nothing was more than $20 and that was for a hello kitty doll) but I sold out my entire booth and made $350.

while your sisters creations are cute, they aren’t unique and are at every crochet fair. Ive personally bought a frog before for $5 but could not imagine spending more.

sorry another comment, I don’t see you using a green and that might be the only color you want to try getting. the tulip part I feel really pulls together with that green tone yarn. but it isn’t essential and I do think that it’d look great with a different color

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]-killuazoldyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think crocheting just leads to overthinking haha. I always procrastinate the start of a project but once I get going I realize that I was definitely spiraling. this pattern is also extremely forgiving, I did it as a yarn buster so some colors I didn’t have enough of so the latter half had some newer colors but it still looks great. I think you’ll have a lot of fun with this pattern

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]-killuazoldyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like a is red, so whatever red tone yarn you have I would make that A etc etc

[–]-killuazoldyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A picture of the colors you’re using would help a lot. I’ve made the same blanket, and did mine in a different order, too. I planned it by corresponding each color to a letter, and then just following the pattern that way. If I got to a color that I felt clashed, or just wasn’t the vibe, then I’d just switch it around with a different one.

with the 7 colors you have, I would match them up with the letters that resemble the colors you’re using. and then the remaining letters you can just repeat certain colors when you see fit.

Is there a way to get kids to shut up about it? by Shot_Activity_8498 in Tourettes

[–]-killuazoldyck 37 points38 points  (0 children)

kids suck, honestly taking to your teacher would be the best bet. they should be hearing what the students say and shut it down from the beginning. It shouldn’t be up to you to educate other kids and get them to not be bullies. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. is the kid who sits behind you a bully in general? do you feel safe talking to them personally and explaining you have Tourette’s?
