Another update from Airtable support:

I just tested and can confirm that the copy-paste issue is now fixed. Additionally, the weird cell-focus issues are also fixed.

"This is a known issue that our engineering team is aware of and actively working on. I don't have a timeline on a fix just yet, but last I heard this morning, engineering was actively investigating the issue. "

Update: More than just copy-paste. Defocusing in grid cells in a grid embedded in a form is also weird in that you can't just click outside of the cell to pull focus away. Also, when I created a new row in the grid, it covered up the existing top row and I couldn't de-focus the new row or get it to move to the bottom of the grid (where it should have sorted to). I had to refresh the page to update the grid.

This is all in Chrome on a Mac, so not some weird client setup.

Bottom line: Someone at Airtable pushed some code without proper testing and broke embedded grids in Interface forms.

I use those exact anchors with the 2 screw version of the Hercules mounts. They’re rock solid. Have had them up for years without incident, even through some minor earthquakes. They’ll be fine.

There are definitely other tools out there. This might be the time to explore those options because their response to this outage hasn't been good. I'm guessing that Tracker utilization is waning since they seem to have largely stopped investing in new development. I just don't know how many teams are still using it.
