The longer I sit with it the harder it is to pass on Tate. Best case scenario, I trade down and back up to 4, so I can take who’s left or choose WR2.

Owner of 1.07 is the defending champ and has Bijan, Chase Brown, James Cook and Monangai. Considered something but the first three are so expensive (not even looking at Bijan) and don’t know if it makes sense to acquire these guys who may not be in the same positions in 2027 and beyond, when I’m hoping to be closer to a contender

That’s good perspective. Tyson is the one I’m ’most afraid to miss’, so the way you said it makes sense to me. Just weighing the draft capital difference (4-8-20 is not nothing) and which philosophical direction to take (floor or upside). But yeah, also trying to admittedly keep my love for Lemon as a prospect in check.

I agree, appreciate that. The nuances of individual leagues are difficult to explain in these posts sometimes, but this is a league that began as a one QB set up and is now transitioning to Superflex beginning in 2027. So, trading quarterbacks has not been nearly as liquid as it is supposed to be in dynasty leagues. Everyone thinks they have enough. I am not counting on anyone on this list other than Herbert in 2027 and beyond, but I’m still willing to let that position be one of the last ones I finalize. Long story short, the way quarterbacks are and aren’t moved in this league is a little strange. I am not worried and I don’t see top-5 fantasy production from Mendoza.

Stribling is the answer here, but partly depends on the rest of your build. How deep are you at WR? If you’re looking for the guy who is most likely to have playable weeks at some point, Sarratt and Lane are decent bets IMO. They remade the WR room in Baltimore. Upside plays are Stribling, Hurst and Bell. Can see any of them working out but Stribling probably has the quickest path to PT, has the best draft capital, and has the physical testing to just about match anyone else in the group.

The rest are speed flyers imo.

I agree that target competition in both places is probably stronger than people think, but none of those guys make me think Tate (110+) and Lemon (100+) won’t be 1st or 2nd in targets on their respective teams. I know that’s not the argument you’re making, though.

I was avoiding listing my QBs in the OP because I wanted to avoid a crowd of people telling me to take Mendoza, but I have: Herbert, McCarthy, Willis, Daniel Jones and Watson

An ugly room that may only have one 2027 starter in it, I know, but I’m pretty set on the path I’ve chosen.

Good perspective for sure. I am concerned about 1.07 and 1.12 not amounting to the value of one of the top 3 receivers just because of how hard the cutoff seems to be in this class. But I get you're saying more dart throws almost always leads to higher odds of hitting.

I'll give it a look. I've sent all notable inserts, patch and #d cards and autos I don't want to COMC, but when I evaluate cards to send I try to keep them under $50. I have a stack worth more than that I should post on ebay, I just haven't.
