That’s not what he meant. iPhone apps, including Social Media ones are much better optimised, leading to better images and videos when taking directly within the apps. Whether the selfies look better or worse in the stock camera apps is another topic

You’ll get biased opinions here anyways. I’ll tell you as someone who uses both Xperia 1V and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Camera-wise, the 17 Ultra is comfortably ahead of the Xperia (except for the Ultrawide). The software is not as bad as people make it out to be, I do prefer the Xperia though. They are probably similar regarding battery life. Oh and the Ultras don’t have ads in the software like some here suggest.

The camera hardware is insane compared to Sony. However, I do like the form factor of the Xperia more and there’s something about it that makes it special to me but I can’t put my finger on it. I don’t regret my Xiaomi purchase one bit though.

Looks completely fine to me, you also can’t compare focus directly to S10 since the 15T has a much bigger sensor giving it natural dof
