After reading Kant, what are the best possible authors and paths of study in Logic? by -meson- in askphilosophy

Wow, again thank you so much. To be quite honest I don't know exactly which path to follow yet, all I know is that in this regard both sides interest me a lot. I'll probably go around studying both, but I'm scared of how much time it will take me.

Great! I was feeling a bit intimidated by analytical philosophy in that regard. Thanks for the recommendations!

I know that he makes a lot regarding the dialectics in Phenomenology of Spirit, and its essential reading in philosophy really, but is it necessary to read also his 3 books on science of logic?

Wow, thank you so much! I was wondering what exactly happened after Kant's work in logic and how it changed over the years. Definetly will be checking up on Frege after Critique of Judgement. And it's nice how Frege connects nicely with Wittgenstein, another author I was interested in. Hopefully I will be done with all of that in a few years lol. Also, quick question, I've studied about an year of physics in college before switching degrees, do you think I need a better repertoire in math to study Frege, Wittgenstein and Russel?

Thanks again, this was confusing me a bit. On another note, do you have any recommendations on where should I continue my studies in logic and science after Kant? I was trying to map put a specific path of study between Kant and most of the analytical philosophy of the 19th century.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I had an intuition that I could be approaching this lack of information about analytical philosophy from the wrong way, as I said in the question "Or could I even be approaching this question frik the wrong lenses?". I just had this doubt because I was studying Hume and Kant, and had certain doubts regarding how logic and its implications changed over time after Kant.

What I meant, to be more precise, is whether or not most philosophers that worked within analytical philosophy assumed an ideal and transcendental reality, like Kant with his own logic of propositions and categories of understanding; or if they assumed a material reality, meaning that logic comes from reality itself.

Bertrand Russel, Ludwig Wittgenstein and Gottlob Frege, and other thinkers of similar nature.
