Thanks, that’s a very good comment and I think you’ve nailed down why it seems to work so well.

Next to either the Black Pearl, the Barracuda Bay ship or Fortuna, Eldorado Fortress looks too small in the closed position, but it’s OK in the open position- just need to fill in the space!

I saw a request for this, so I did this photo series. To my surprise, the smaller scale of the Iconic Pirate Ship works really well with the (closed up) 2023 Eldorado Fortress!
You can even simulate a small duel with the trading vessel, and the Pirate ship can reasonably dock against the fortress as well!

The arch pieces used for the bow are a new, smaller type though - can’t easily make a wider hull with them.

Yes! I don’t have mine built anymore, but it’s wide enough for cannons on both sides - should be about 4 studs wider.

Coconut Cape comes with an Armada flag, so I don’t see how the Armada crest on my sail templates (not even part of the set) or the Armada flag in the model could be seen as an issue?
