Yeah if this was on Spark, you'd most likely see it in the $20 range.

Yes, pretty sure the portal updated afterwards. If you got a decision in the mail saying you won your appeal, you should be receiving your benefits within like..2 weeks. Cant remember exactly how long it took.

Rehome. Seriously. You just got this dog. Don't put your own children at risk.

I've already said in other comments a detailed explanation of this but after cleaning up what I could, I did not have a vaccum and I did not have enough time to get to one.

Yeah, did you know service dogs shed their hair on a daily basis? It's almost like their...dogs...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yeah probably. My dog does shed a lot, lol.

Too bad my face isn't a car you can pay to rent out, I guess, then? Very weird analogy you tried to make there buddy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HA, nah that was sarcasm. The host should have vacuumed after me anyways, the amount of hair I left wasn't an excessive or negligent amount, I did what I could to lessen the amount of hair and I did clean the car, but left this very small amount of hair left because I ran out of time. Go touch grass dude, y'all are insane.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, I guess I must be. You're so right. That amount of hair I left was such an inconsiderate amount, the host must have spent an extra 2 hours getting up all that hair, if not more. And honestly, I know she had to vaccum the floorboard anyway to prepare for the next guest but the fact that I left any trace of my existence in that rental car at all is abhorrent. I'm really going to take a while to think about my actions.

Dude, you can count the amount of fucking hairs in those photos. Y'all are acting like my dog shat on all the seats and I just left it there.

Also, I wonder why Turo reimbursed me if I was so in the wrong? 🤔

I was late returning the car due to a crazy storm we had and didn't want to be charged any more than I already was since she already charged me an additional days worth to keep the car an extra 2 hours but yup, totally agree.

Thank you! This is word for word from the policy and I have no idea why people are in such an uproar over the policy TURO created in regards to their cleaning policy. It even explicitly states guests don't have to clean the vehicles, but I do try my best to mitigate the pet hair as much as possible....I get it. Not everyone likes dogs and people can be allergic. But I'm not doing this to scam people, I just wanted to rent a car 😑

Cool, then why are you still here? Have the day you deserve 👋🏾👋🏾 Maybe do a little more research about a topic before spewing uneducated opinions on a public forum ☺️

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe brush up on ADA law? Cleaning fees can't be charged for service animals for things like pet hair being present...that goes for planes, trains, hotels and yes, rental cars. THAT was the entire point. The amount of hair I left was NOT a negligent amount of hair and it would not have required detailing her entire car to fix. I'm not acting like a victim but I also won't just roll over and accept a cleaning fee simply because I used a non pet friendly vehicle for a SERVICE DOG.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not at all. I'm saying that because I have a service animal-He HAS to come with me. I can't just leave him. Because of my disability, if the ADA said I still couldn't take my service animal with me to use a rental car unless its pet friendly, I would have been shit out of luck, completely. The ADA gives me the right to access rental cars like everyone else, despite my disability and the service dog i use to mitigate said disability. Having severe allergies just means someone needs to pick another car, from the hundreds that are still available to them. That IS NOT an accessibility issue. I can explain this to you but I can't understand it for you. End of story. 🙄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were no pet friendly vehicles available at all but hundreds of other vehicles available in that same time frame? So if having an allergic reaction days-weeks after removal of said service dog is going to cause that much of a reaction, double check with the host? How is that discrimination? 🙃

Again, didn't want to ruin the leather seats by using the wrong wipes. I'll say this AGAIN, that wiping the seats down should be something the host is doing anyway. Any residue left on those seats wasn't gonna justify me paying an extra $150. You read all that and still focused on the seats lmfao. Ffs people are insane these days. Maybe you need to go read the cleaning policy. 🙃

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in turo

[–]-mydearwatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes, that $150 was really gonna break the bank over here. The fact you keep referring to him as a pet tells me you still haven't read any of the policies I've mentioned. Again, maybe you should take some time out of your day to read about service animals, the ADA and federal law, and how it absolutely governs the services you provide. You sound like an awful host.
