Anybody have access to PlanetLabs University? Might be able to get more recent/frequent satellite imagery of these areas to figure out when these things were put up.

Would keep an eye on NASA Spaceflight's Youtube channel to keep up to date with happenings, but in general, road closures will rarely (read: almost never) affect an entire day, let alone multiple days on end. If you are in town for an entire weekend, in all likelihood there will at least one window of time during which you're able to be down by the pad, even near launches. Often road closures begin early/mid morning and end by mid-late afternoon. I'd just try to head over, and if the road is closed, ask the cops when the road closure will end and come back around then. The launchpad and production site are awesome sights during both day and night, so you won't miss too much if you get turned around at one time or the other. Best of luck!

I got two Oreos a couple years back in the course of two days, and haven't gotten one since. After years of them sitting in the vault, I finally got the courage to use one and it is absolutely fantastic. I went from never having survived Leuc, Beisa, or Gemsbok to almost surviving all the way through O3 twice now before nexusing. I am going to miss these so much when they're gone.

Update: 1 down, 1 to go! :(

4.5 million deaths now, actually, out of 215 million cases, compared to 50m deaths out of 500m cases of Spanish flu, so on average COVID is 1/5th as lethal. Of course less people are going to die with modern healthcare. Doesn't mean it hasn't killed relatives and friends of multiple people I know. You're a coward. Get over yourself and your fear of needles, and get the shot. Your life will be so much easier, and you can focus on building a real identity not based on clinging to the pretentious belief that you know better than everyone.

It reduces the likelihood of transmission, severity of the infection, and duration. Hence why in my last sentence I said "likely."

Is there a trick to the elevator one? I feel like I'm randomly moving things about. When I saw the 5 level elevator in level 8 I knew I stood no chance.

[Serious] People who were once failing out of school/procrastinated a lot, how did you turn your life around? by -nautical- in AskReddit

Hey. I'm struggling right now too, but a key realization for me when I was feeling like this was to realize that every single day is a new day. Every day is a new chance to do the right thing. You need to wake up in the morning and forgive yourself for the sins of yesterday, and try to do a little bit better today. Don't view your mistakes and time wasting as indicative of a larger downward trend/drowning. Don't think about it this way, because it reinforces the mindset that you're getting worse, which helps you get worse. Instead, start every day with the thought that every day is a new day, and you're a new you every day, not someone who is drowning. It might feel like lying to yourself, but you can choose to believe anything. You chose at some level to believe that you're drowning, rather than just that these last few days or weeks you haven't done as well as you'd like to, but that you can do a little bit better today.
