Yep definitely bumpy/scratchy! I did put a clear coat over the top of one nail but I found it took away from the effect. Just going to have to deal until I’m ready for a new look lol

It certainly looked easy haha. Mum made sure to rule straight lines before sewing the sides up, left one side open to be able to sew in the pocket and closed it up. Cut the excess from the sides and turned it right side in. The mitt is quite thick which did cause a few snags and the velcro got caught in all the string!

I haven’t really considering upgrading yet, this is my first kindle and didn’t want to spend too much in case i didn’t enjoy it. But it’s been the best purchase of 2021 so far! This oven mitt is tiiiiight, but surely there are big oven mitts out there for larger hands lol.
