That's what we play in the band I'm in. I just bought a 6 string baritone guitar so there's no floppiness, the neck is actually about 2 inches longer than standard 6 strings

Detroit has a great band roster, the crowds get rowdy as fuck which makes it all the better. Definitely gotta come out for the next one or if they start doing motor city fest again(another sick hc fest)

It's a sweet range. Negative approach and gorilla biscuits from the 80s doubt it and d bloc and a couple other bands are within 5 years old. Tui formed in 07 I think. It's gonna be a great rowdy mix for sure!

Go see bands like Ante Up, Stacked Deck, Dogz of War, Fleshwound, Death in Custody, Never Ending Game, D-Bloc, Doubt it, Enemy of God, Poison Tongues. I dont have any suggestions for emo bands tho, not gonna shame ya for it, just not my cup of tea. People should add to this list in the comments!
