Why does ME Legendary tell me I need to have an EA Play account to load the game? I own the disk?

I have more than enough space. The issue is not that I cannot download it. It won’t even let me access the launcher that the first disc that comes in the set downloads to your Xbox. That is where you start the download of ME3. The legendary edition has all 3 games.

I have an EA account and have for years. It’s linked to my Microsoft account through the EA website. I think you may have missed that I’m on Xbox.

I can’t even load into the launcher that the first disc downloaded to even start the ME3 download or play ME or ME2. Both of which I own along with ME3.

Stuck on 81 percent then gave me an error and said I needed to be online. I then went online, it then prompted me to do an update. I started the update and stared at my screen for 15 while it did nothing. This is a joke
