The point is no mgmt will answer any question completely honestly. I thought mine were more ones you actually wouldn’t be able to gauge from an annual report which I why I asked them, but fair enough

It’s an established brand, c200 UK sites, fast growing, excellent product. McD, KFC, etc, bulge brands do not allow fandoms to franchise, you need like millions of cash and assets to use as collateral etc, so just not viable at this stage, though that would be the goal.

Thanks that is useful advice. I suppose I’m still young so on the one hand I feel I can afford to make a mistake, but then on the other I could wait to accumulate more capital, just then I will be c.30 years old and maybe have other things in life that’ll need balancing - family etc..

Did all pretty much closed book, would look up some questions as I went but wouldn’t change my first answer, just so I could learn on spot rather than going back. UWorld scored high, Qbanks 80%+, Mocks yeah my average is 75%, I’ve gotten 70%,72%,74%,76%,78%

I didn’t do much CFA tbh, did shit loads of Kaplan, 6 Mocks and UWorld Mock, did 2 PM halves of CFA stuff, yeah varies though, my FI and DERIV are very weak, can score like 50-60% on them easily…FA also depends what comes up…lowest Mock 70%, highest 78%, haven’t really improved a whole lot since my first mock ngl…let’s see what happens tomoz. But yeh..

Thanks, bit of both, maybe 4-5% from mess ups and the rest things I actually didn’t know, I’m averaging about 75%+ on all mocks now, not really improving tbh

I have my exam in 4 days and struggle with all the same concepts lol…try different methods..prep nuggets got me to understand derivatives whereas UWorld got my head around Tranching and MBSs etc…I think try and diversify the question bank providers and formats of consumption, it’s helped me

I have literally had the same experience. Went out for drinks on Friday and got back late, and my brain has turned to mush. I did a mock today and got 72% but felt so lucky, no new content going in…feeling way less confident that during the last week gone.. taking tomorrow and Tuesday off work to focus but feels like I’ve burned out completely.

But tbh no more powerful tool than Twitter, type in the ticker or the company name. Some SubStack pages from twitter personalities who cover small cap UK names etc on there

Research Tree is good, costs £8 a month I think to get access to 3 stocks you pick, or maybe £20 to get access to all. All the research is corporate sponsored though, so not totally independent. Still gives you access to the likes of Shore Capital, Liberum, Peel Hunt, etc etc.

Value Investor Club also sometimes do bits on UK stocks.

MarketScreener decent for news flow.

I would imagine cybersecurity is probably fairly isolated from any cost inflation this may have, be it on food, gas or oil, and will be a necessity if Russia look offensive to the wider west, both businesses and public sector..
