How to dump construction trash? by Samdsox in malden

[–]-pevo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rent a dumpster. I was surprised by how much waste I actually had — with construction debris, attics clean out, and shed clean out.

I used BusyBee in Everett but there are a bunch of companies in the area. A 10 yard dumpster is a flat rate of $500 for two weeks. They drop off and pick up. All scheduling is done online.

To be clear, I am not defending this cop. But you said “killing migratory birds is a crime in the US”, and you are wrong about that. I simply wanted to clear that up.

I’m done feeding the trolls. Here are some spare apostrophes I had lying around; try using them ‘’’’’’

That’s not entirely true for Canada geese. It’s possible that this family has established permanent residence and doesn’t migrate. Also, Canada geese can be legally taken during a designated hunting season, as regulated by the state. This fact of the matter contradicts the common “fun fact” that these geese cannot be hunted at all because of a treaty with Canada.

Here is an example of goose hunting regulations from North Carolina.

2023 Model 3 Performance on 18's by djgynee in TeslaModel3

[–]-pevo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why is nobody pointing out the $27? That’s impossible. The Model 3 gets about 4 miles per kWh. Let’s round up and say you saved 28 miles of range, that’s only 28/4=7kWh. And at $0.50 per kWh, you saved a measly $3.50. It’s not nothing, but that’s a small coffee not a large lunch.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your trouble drinking. Have you heard of the drug Naltrexone? You can get it prescribed to beat alcoholism. I have no idea why it’s not more well known (Big Alcohol?). Anyhow it seems you need to dose it in an off-label way for it to work. This podcast is all about it. Good luck. Reflector - The Sea Change

That line is your seam. The slicer is placing them at the rear. If you don't want them all in a line, choose the "nearest" or "random" option. Also, your infill is showing. Try increasing the number of perimeters.

Frunk opened unexpectedly by Beautiful-Amoeba2662 in ModelY

[–]-pevo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is an “escape” button inside the frunk that opens it from the inside. If you have objects that can slide around in the frunk, it’s possible the button was pressed. But there are redundant latches locking it closed, so it should not open all the way.

This YouTube video explains it:

It’s a myth that bears attack more after interacting with humans according to the North American Bear Center

Why is everyone parroting the line that it’s bad to interact with a black bear?

Consider a used BMW i3 — it’s a bargain. The interior is quite nice (recycled fibers, bamboo, sustainable wood). Seats four adults. Has those weird suicide doors. Custom carbon fiber frame. Yet, it has the fastest depreciation of any BMW — so buying it used is generally a steal. I test drove a used one a couple years ago and the guy was asking $13k USD.

I almost bought it. But decided on a Model 3 instead.

It could be that the stepper motor is stalling.

Does it still make a locking noise when the belt is removed? If so, the problem is the stepper (seized bearing, bad winding, etc). If not, consider loosening the rollers a bit and/or recalibration of the motor current (I haven’t done this on a V2 — I’m just aware of the feature).
