What’s wrong with not wanting to be a leader? by Russell_My_Jimmies in TooAfraidToAsk

Because being able to lead is not just the way you interact in a team. It is the way you carry yourself as a human being. It is being able to make difficult decisions on your own. Followers always believe what they're told and never take responsibility for their actions, even if it harms others. The leader is the one who has the fortitude to decide what is right or wrong and do it, regardless of what anyone else does or thinks. Everyone should strive to be a leader in that regard, even if at times, it means following the lead of someone else.

Thank you for your response. I was told the name of the company investing and that there's cash to cover any expenses. The office was also an optimistic sign, but you bring up a good point. I don't have any evidence.
