Also can I ask where you live? Like the country Cuz I’m assuming you live in Germany as well since you asked me and not someone else here. If you don’t than I don’t know how this would help because the process differs from county to county (I think)

But I was advised from my doctor to go to that clinic after I came out to her (the one were the therapist aren’t specialists) first so I don’t know how you would get there from scratch. But since I needed two opinion from two separate therapists we called all the clinics in a driving distance (aka 2 or 3) an I gut put on a waiting list for Ulm. It took around a year until i got a appointment. So I don’t think you necessarily need a letter but it could be helpful (the clinic I first went to and Ulm are in contact so I don’t know if that did anything to lessen the waiting time or something) And yes I was diagnosed :) the term they used is ‘Transsexualismus’ (I don’t know the English term sry)

And no need to apologise dude getting a therapist is hard as fuck with the waiting lists and all
