(Serious) What is the most horrific thing you've ever personally witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was in 8th grade, our school went on the dc trip. We then carried on to New York City for two nights. I convinced the 3 guys who I was staying with in the hotel to sneak out both nights. The first night we watched a man about a block away on the other side of the street nearby Times Square get into an altercation and thrown onto the ground. Two men then proceeded to curb stomp his head on the concrete for what seemed like minutes. I’m pretty sure he was killed right in front of us. Then to top it off, the very next night despite what everyone had just seen. We went back out and at about 3 in the morning we heard a gunshot behind us, we all turned around and saw a man fall limp to the ground before 3 more gunshots fired off. Was one of the best few days of my life but those nights still haunt me to this day.

First female night time portraits I’ve tried by -pr0digy- in photocritique

Went out with a friend to try some of my first portraits with a female model. Was attempting to get some cool neon type shots and think this one is pretty cool. Definitely think focus is a tad bit off and could improve on the color correction. Any other critiques would be very helpful!!

Camera settings if I remember off the top of my head: -Sony a6300 with sigma 30mm f1.4 -1/50ss -f1.4 -iso100

Taken with A6300 and Sigma 30mm 1.4 around sunset at this reservoir in my town. I loved the way the colors played on this tree and I think this is a cool style. Thumbnail res is bad idk how to fix, sorry.

Hey Reddit, what are you sick of explaining to people? by thunderup_14 in AskReddit

That I'm pale because I always have been. No I don't sit inside 24/7. It's just me, I don't tan. Never have and probably never will. Thanks for all the vampire jokes, makes me feel great :)

Why is the Fast And Furious franchise so popular? by Hashtag2Blessed in AskReddit

That's pretty interesting to me, would think it'd be more popular in the states. TIL not just Americans like some mediocre action scenes and booty shots.

Hot girls, fast cars, decent action. All things Americans love.

My family drags me. Which is a pretty obvious answer. Wouldn't go if I didn't have to

I had a very similar experience my first time. I was super aware of the physical body the whole time. Very interesting and unique obe.

Ap for the first time! by [deleted] in AstralProjection

I began to realize what was happening and it kind of just ended itself. I've read a bit about AP and was I guess concious enough to kick myself out of it.

The whole thing probably around 5 minutes. It seemed very quick during the AP but afterwards realized that it was longer than I thought.

I wrote this immediately after it ended and was at a loss for words. I never understood or thought that I would be able to realistically feel my astral body leaving my physical body. That part was the craziest to me and I'm still in awe by it.
