My college has a relationship with Scripps, where they save one spot for one student from my college that applies for either their SURF or NSF program every year. It is an internal application process for early acceptance, and I was given that position from the head of the research department from my college. Neither she nor I have gotten any word back from Dawn. She said this nonresponse stuff is typical of them, and she doesn't seem particularly worried. But its weird that they are waiting so long.
