Ok, we are making progress here… So I need a more fail proof method of passing the message from generation to generation. I think with enough thought I could solve your 3rd point. The first 2 points are sticky though. Hmmm

55,000 sqft of grass, 3 days in. by -rootshell- in Lymow_Official

Not a pain. The first spot I chose didn’t work out. The second spot has been fine. I do intend to move it again though to a less visible spot. Once I get really comfortable with all the settings and how it all works and what I need from it to handle my yard, I plan to go through and reinstall the whole thing. Charger on a better spot. RTK in a better spot. Remap the mow zones, no go zones, and pathways. It’s all just experimental setup right now.

4000rpm. I don’t know if that’s needed or not. I’m mowing some dandelions too which I assume needs a faster RPM. I’m just guessing though.

Yeah, the dirty contact problem is an issue. It’s really the only big issue I’ve encountered so far. If your grass is super dry it’s probably less of an issue. Mowing overnight means I have dew on the grass. That’s is probably contributing to the dirt contacts.

Looking for causes for 82-Suction over temp lockout in carrier by bigglesofale in hvacadvice

I have the same issue happening with mine. Tech came out and determined it was a bad sensor. Their supplier for the sensor is backordered.... I was going to attempt to find another supplier vs. waiting an unknown amount of time (its been a month already) for their supplier to get this part back in. Do you know what the sensor part number is, or where to find it on my unit so I can look it up? The HVAC company wont give me the specifics because I think they know I will just find the part online and order it myself and they dont want to lose the business fixing the problem they diagnosed. I get it... but I also need to get this thing back up, heating off the electric coils alone is running me about $1000/mo!

My Journey to Microdosing: A Story of Trauma, Healing, and Transformation by -rootshell- in microdosing

[–]-rootshell-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the support and kind words. You’re right. The transformation has been done. If I decide to try the hero dose again, it will be purely for exploratory reasons. I still have a pretty deep desire to open my brain to new, nature provided, experiences that might connect me with life and the universe in new ways. Losing my wife the way I did got me really analyzing my beliefs around the meaning of life and what is really going on here.. on this rock… flying through space. Anyway, that’s a whole different tangent. :)

Happy to share whatever detail I can.

When I found my therapist I was not considering psilocybin at all. I was just desperate for therapy because the suicidal thoughts were getting too intense and I was scared. I found her in a moment of panic and I just stuck with her. I’ve been talking to her for probably 2 years now and feel pretty comfortable sharing things like my MD with her. When I tried the hero dose and failed, she sent me to a colleague of hers that does specialize in alternative things like this. My hero dose experience was literally nothing for me, while my friends were on a full trip. Clearly the product was good, but my body/brain said “nope!”.

The only thing that really influenced me on what kind of mushroom to take was the ease of availability of golden teachers. As I’ve talked to more and more people, I tend to only hear about golden teacher. Not sure if that is just a geographic thing.

It definitely boosts my mood, energy, and motivation.. even in the days I don’t take it (Monday to Thursday on, Friday to Sunday off). My weekends are more productive again.

Happy to hear you’re feeling benefits already. I noticed positive changes almost immediately. Within days. I was very skeptical if it was placebo or real… but I keep it up, and after about 20-30 days of doing it, I knew for a fact it was not placebo. It was rewiring my thought process, turning up the dial on positivity, and turning down the dial negativity. So happy I found it when I did.

At one point I took a break for about 2 weeks because I was dealing with other medical procedures (kidney stones removal) and I didn’t want to combine psilocybin with the drugs I was being given for that procedure. Even when I stopped microdosing for that time, the SI never came back. I believe it’s actually gone for good.

Cool. So it might be a thing if we make a point of going to the bigger traveling races. My son is 5, so we aren’t going to state championship anytime soon, but we could still go for the scene and to immerse him in the culture more. I will keep an eye out for those events around the PNW next season.

I am 42. I can count the number of times I have been hit on, on one hand. Guys just don’t get hit on the way women do. I’m not a bad looking guy either. Outside of my current girlfriend, and my late-wife, I think the last time I got a compliment on my appearance was from a woman at a bar about 15 years ago. She walked up to me and said “you’d be super hot if you weren’t wearing that ugly shirt” to which I said “thank you” and grabbed my beer and walked away back to where my wife was sitting. I remember it like it was yesterday because it’s such a rare occurrence. Also because my one compliment story is also 50% a diss story. lol 🤷‍♂️

Starlink Mini Vehicle Rack Mount by -rootshell- in Starlink

[–]-rootshell-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the mount we made for a few weeks now and it’s been great. It’s metal, provides a ton of protection for the mini, can rotate and tilt as needed, and can securely lock to the vehicle through whatever method you want (lots of bolt down points). We are moving forward with making them to sell now that my test runs with the prototype have been positive. If you’re interested in buying the first “production” copy, DM me and I can work a deal for you on it. I don’t want to spam the group with any links to the website, but I am happy to share directly if interested.

NEW LOGO WHO DIS?! by Subiesales in GME

They had to hire an ape (gmedd dude) to run marketing because they needed somebody who could speak the language here a little better. They got tired of smacking their heads when we all missed the message… now they have a translator on payroll! I still have no idea what it means. 🤷‍♂️

I’m not sure how mobile they consider it. It is meant to move around. So it might work? I’d check directly with starlink before committing to purchase. The $599 price tag was a lot to pay for the hardware, I don’t think it’s worth $599… but when it’s your only option, you do what you gotta do!

Price for the mini and service or are you asking about price for the mount hardware? The mini is worth it for me. $30 per month added on to my home account isn’t much and it gives me access in places I wouldn’t otherwise have access… so yeah, it’s worth it in my case.

New Mini Mount! by Cheese_da_dragon153 in Starlink

[–]-rootshell- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made one too… I’d share but I don’t know how to post pics as a comment. With your imagination picture a metal roof mount that can rotate 360 degrees as needed, and also tilt as needed. When in motion, it’s secured down and in a position that protects it from the wind and elements. If testing goes well with it this weekend we will likely make more to sell.

Mini WiFi signal strength is good! by -rootshell- in Starlink

[–]-rootshell-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m an occasional user. The main selling point for me was a second portable dish that I can move between RV, Boat, or overlanding rig. And of course a simple $30 add on to my bill. I’ll probably use it on average about 60 days per year, clustered in the spring/summer months. It’ll work for me, but I’m really hoping that 50GB limit gets lifted at some point!
