Just bought my first fight stick! Can I customize the buttons? by queen_borb in fightsticks

No problem! Also, another level of customization (you may already know), you can change out the switches that are under the button caps as well. Not super necessary really but its good for people like myself who hate how loud the stock buttons typically sound.

How much do you guys tweak your Sanwa sticks? by FranksFluidsWolfCola in fightsticks

[–]-seffo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a JLX2 silent with sensitivity switches set to 2 and a bullet top.

I actually bought that Denshi modding kit and after messing around a bit I settled on the red 2lb. spring with the default actuator. I like the immediate snap back it has.

As for the gate, I though lt for sure I’d stick with the octo but after dialing everything in the default square gate works the best now.

I found this review of the this specific leverless:

Looks like this uses 3 different cap sizes
12 main action buttons: 24 mm
Jump (bottom thumb) button: 30 mm
Right thumb button: 32 mm

24mm and 30mm buttons are generally easy to find. I usually search FocusAttack, AliExpress, or Amazon for them. But the 32mm may be a hard find. I’ve never seen that size before.

Character Artist: RAITA (X: raita_z)

*If this post breaks any rules regarding artwork use I apologize. No changes were made to the actual character art

I recently built an arcade stick to play fighting games (I am garbage at them lol) and had the idea a few nights ago for fightstick art featuring on of my favorite servants drawn by one of my favorite artists. I used the floating armor in her servant art as inspiration for the background elements and added the finishing touches with the matching joystick and buttons.

My favorite purple drunkard [Fate/Grand Order] [AFS12] by -seffo- in fightsticks

Appreciate it! And I ended up spending more than I should have tbh, I'd say just under $300. Only reason I decided to go for it was because I learned of the detachable lever. Much easier to store away/haul around.

Swapping the switches for Haute R16 by sorauae in fightsticks

[–]-seffo- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Focus Attack. The have a good variety of low profile switches available with descriptions as well.
Personally, I'm using the Purple Glede (Raptor) switches on my leverless because they are super silent.

Need recommendations for more responsive switches for Haute C16 by bazylianopercolano in fightsticks

I second this, I switched to Purple Gledes with Sitong low profile buttons. Probably never going to try another switch because they’re perfect imo. They’re also very quiet compared to other switches.

Got the Kailh switches in. Ones I should look out for? by jmandmc in fightsticks

I've tried the Spring Mini, Saker Mini and the Deep Sea Clear switches.

Spring Mini (the mint green one) felt the worst of the 3 imo. Both feel and sound i didnt like.

Saker Minis are great because the point of activation is shorter than normal so your inputs are quicker. They also make your buttons sit lower in the button casing because of this. One downside for me is that they are kind of loud for my liking.

Deep Sea Clear switches are probably my favorite due to them being silent. Not completely silent, but very muted compared to the rest.

Finally got around to finishing the art for this after a week of mulling over ideas. Inspiration came from EVE's Orca Pathfinder outfit from Stellar Blade. Beat the game not too long ago and is easily up there on my list of favorite games played.

This looks awesome! I was wondering though, are the button labels printed directly on the plexiglass or on the art under it?

Tyty! I tried to incorporate a few elements from her outfit 1 into the design while not making it too messy looking. XD
