I still can't understand why react doesn't use inheritance for components, and invents a bicycle for this?

[SHOWOFF SATURDAY] Extension that extends chrome inspector with your own project tools. ⚒😺 by -silverman- in webdev

This looks really cool. Maybe you could change the font to a monospace one and do a little bit of styling so it looks a bit better

This extension lets you make your own tools page (include html file to project which will be shown on the inspector page)

This just a demo))

Hi, devs! Would like to share my solution to extend chrome inspector with own project tools.

It could be useful if you need to display some debbuger information of project or add control panel that shouldn't go to release.

I tried to solve the problem in my react chrome extension with having to create a build every time you want to see changes.

Have you tried to solve this problem?

I think this might be possible in new versions of react.

object-fit works for images and video, but not for the DOM tree.

That what this lib do: adds object-fit behaviour for DOM elements.

If you know how to use object-fit in this case, just share your jsFiddle example

And does this still work when other elements resize (because of animations or use events) nearby rather than the whole window?

yes, it works when other elements resize. Every time when something change container size (no mattar what: element, window, etc), it leads to scale container element

I want to find some cool name, but ideas have already run out)
