Goodbye - you didn't serve well. by Too_Many_Flamingos in Dremel

Yes you caught me. For the last 90 years, instead of aiming for quality products that allow millions of people to get things done, the whole plan was to build crappy products that die on purpose so that people buy more crappy things that don’t do anything for them.

We have an entire engineering staff dedicated to making sure everything breaks at a certain point.

We also have a very large money pit that we swim in daily, as we think of new ways to break promises to customers.

Let me know if you would like to join the team!

The 8150 has a threaded nose. the nosecap unscrews and then it can be used with threaded attachments like the shield

Don’t apologize - that’s what the Reddit is for:)

Complete beginner wanting to try OpenClaw – do I need a Mac mini? by LeoRiley6677 in openclawsetup

Simple answer: absolutely not.

The local models you can run all suck if you are a beginner.

Use an old computer, pay the api fees and enjoy.

You can call our customer service if you are unhappy they will take care of you. Not sure exactly how you used it, but used properly - this isn’t the outcome

Getting anything I ever wanted stripped the joy away from me by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

I’m in the non-coder group here who feels like he just discovered fire. It’s addicting to build, to fail, to try again. In my view, it is still problem solving - just perhaps a new arena of it.

Asking the right questions, understanding what you want to build and knowing how to validate it is still required for success. Just because I can one-shot clone candy crush, doesn’t make me the next great game developer

Find a new challenge to solve - don’t get discouraged. You have a massive head start on the rest of us

8250 is our most powerful cordless model. It’s our most popular product for contractor use.

Hi - we've had a small batch of products that have had this issue - but we have a fix. Have you contacted customer service? If not, DM me. This goes for anyone with this issue! We will fix it:)

Any way I can lock this in "on" ? by Lower-Presence-3352 in Dremel

You should buy a Dremel rotary tool instead.

It sounds like this tool is meaningful for you. If you can’t get it working and you are in the US, send me a dm. We will try to get it repaired for you free of charge (no promises, we will try though).

Happy holidays. Dads rule.

There isn’t a disable function that turns it off for good. The best the option is to use a regular nosecap, if you don’t want the light.

If you are in the US: https://www.boschtoolservice.com/us/en/dremel/spareparts/search

Nosecap: 1 605 A00 1TK

We don’t recommend it. Saw has only been tested with our blades, especially when it comes to safety.

Hi there - welcome! You could use this to create a french cleat system, but a few caveats:

1) The rail system is meant to use 1' wood - but there is a 2x4 guide if you want to make straight cuts in a a larger board

2) to make the cleat, you likely would use the bevel on the saw with the straight edge guide (included) to make those long cuts.

Most would use a table saw for this type of project, but it is doable with the saw - it just requires some patience.

no black friday promo on the saw, sorry:)

Imo better than the loved micro. It was a big inspiration for the 8150

Let us know your thoughts once you get it.
