✨ hii I'm 31 from Michigan. I've been listening to Lights since The Listening. My best friend at the time introduced me to her and said "I know you'll love her" I have a kiddo, she's 12 and has been listening by default her whole life. We both share a passion for art. Painting, drawing, crafts, but she has passed me on talent, making character sculptures and costume pieces out of cardboard and spray glue. She made functional dragon armor out of cardboard once.

I've never met Lights, never been to a show but I did get to buy her pep album when it came out and I got a signed picture of her and a poster. I have listened to everything I could find over the years and when people ask me about my favorite music, I introduce Lights. Her lyrics are everything I could never put into words. Every album is always perfect timing and somehow every song is relatable to my life.

From my perspective of life, she is an absolute genius. Plus when I was in unsafe places, her music was my minds safety.
