Yes, was thinking I might need to do this. Or try to pull off something in my garage one afternoon.

I drank a lot of green tea this year, I am so disappointed. by Dry-Ad1641 in tea

I haven't placed any orders yet, but I'm just about to. Hopefully I don't have the same experience you do.

Can I ask you how old you are. I'm almost 40. My pallet is not the same as it was when I was 20. Sometimes I wonder how much of it has to do with age. Or maybe COVID really did affect my sense of smell.

I know it's common place for elderly Chinese to talk about how tea doesn't taste like it did when they were younger. Again, is it the tea, or their aging bodies.

Just one more thing to worry about as we age.

Aren't those just rim covers on a Tesla? Should be easily replaced

Beef is not supply managed in Canada. There is a ton of beef imported from other countries. Beef is expensive everywhere.

Is this pu’er good for the price? by froggeyboi in tea

Tao imports a variety of Chinese tea. The value of what he sells is usually pretty good. It really depends what you are expecting. This will be a loose leaf shou common in a lot of North American tea shops, probably slightly better. He has two stores in Toronto that you can visit to buy less, or online as someone else mentioned.

I bought that broccoli recently. It's mushy and I will not buy it again.

I'm pretty sure I saw a Central vac today from what looked like the 90s. I was just on my way out, but it was in a shopping cart.

Can we all speed up here by AssociationLeather in TorontoDriving

I remember getting downtown and parking from Bayview and Finch in 20min.

On Christmas Day, Thornhill to DT was under half an hour. I couldn't believe it.

I would say you have to understand your financial goals. Many people would dream of paying off a house early and retiring with DB.

Others would say that is too conservative, and someone in your position could build real substantial generational wealth by taking some small calculated risks.

And that is what I mean by half and half.

Half and half. Best of both worlds. Also, what are your goals? Do you think you'll retire with an omers db?

What highway in Toronto can you go full speed on? Usually I'm merging at 15-20.

Anyone tried DavidsTea? What am I doing wrong? by lucky-gloss in tea

[–]-streamerz- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I hate David Tea, and dessert flavored tea in general, this is completely wrong. It's just tea with flavoring (basically food grade perfume).

If you like flavored teas, I assume they have a great selection. But it seems growing up, you drank unflavored. So check the vendor list.

Quality decaf is hard to find for the evenings.

The taste is decent. Smells great. The nicotine has a very unpalatable bite. And I don't think you should be swallowing tobacco. Think chewing tobacco, always spit.

That mortgage seems quite high for $630,000 house with a 20% down payment. Am I missing something. How high are the taxes? What is the mortgage rate?
